Abstract
INDONESIA:
Menurut Undang-undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional, ”pendidikan adalah usaha sadar dan terencana untuk mewujudkan suasana belajar dan proses pembelajaran agar peserta didik secara aktif mengembangkan potensi dirinya untuk memiliki kekuatan spiritual keagamaan, pengendalian diri, kepribadian, akhlak mulia serta keterampilan yang diperlukan dirinya, masyarakat, bangsa dan negara”. Sistem pembelajaran full day school merupakan salah satu kreasi dan inovasi pembelajaran untuk menjadikan sekolah unggul, inovatif serta kreatif dengan sistem pembelajaran terpadu yang berlandaskan iman dan takwa (imtak), serta ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (iptek), yang berlangsung sehari penuh di sekolah dengan diberlakukannya penambahan jam pelajaran agar siswa mampu mendalami setiap mata pelajaran dengan jatah waktu yang proporsional dan menggunakan format yang menarik dalam pembelajarannya. Sedangkan prestasi belajar disini adalah hasil usaha kegiatan belajar yang dinyatakan dalam bentuk angka, huruf atau simbol yang dapat mencerminkan hasil yang dicapai oleh setiap siswa dalam periode tertentu.
Rumusan masalah yang digunakan dalam penulisan skripsi ini adalah: 1) Bagaimana penerapan full day school di MTs Al-Bukhary Labuhan Sreseh Sampang? 2) Apa faktor pendukung dan penghambat penerapan full day school di MTs Al-Bukhary Labuhan Sreseh Sampang? 3) Bagaimana peranan full day school dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa di MTs Al-Bukhary Labuhan Sreseh Sampang?. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan yaitu: 1) Untuk mengetahui penerapan full day school di MTs Al-Bukhary Labuhan Sreseh Sampang. 2) Untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat penerapan full day school di MTs Al-Bukhary Labuhan Sreseh Sampang. 3) Untuk mengetahui peranan full day school dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa di MTs Al-Bukhary Labuhan Sreseh Sampang.
Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini meliputi (1) Pendekatan dan Jenis Penelitian: Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. (2) Kehadiran penelliti, (3) Pengumpulan data: Teknik Observasi, Teknik Interview, dan Teknik Dokumentasi. (4) Teknik Analisa Data: Untuk menganalisa data yang bersifat kualitatif penulis menggunakan tekhnik analisa deskriptif.
Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem pembelajaran full day school di MTs. Al-Bukhary Sampang dimulai pukul 06.45-15.30 WIB. Dengan mempertimbangkan lamanya waktu belajar di sekolah, maka pihak sekolah menggunakan strategi jitu yaitu mengemas pola pembelajaran dengan format game/permainan, namun tetap mengandung unsur pendidikan yang artinya belajar sambil bermain “my playing is my learning and my learning is my playing”. Selain itu, guru menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang bervariasi seperti alphabetical learning, silih tanya, matching card, dll, serta setting pembelajaran yang berbeda seperti di halaman sekolah, di kampus II, dll dengan menciptakan suasana pembelajaran 3M (menyenangkan, mengasyikkan dan mencerdaskan). Tercapainya tujuan full day school pada siswa tercermin dari prestasi yang diraih oleh siswa, baik dalam bidang akademik maupun non- akademik. Dengan demikian, sistem pembelajaran full day school memiliki peranan yang penting dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa.
ENGLISH:
According to the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 Year 2003 on National Education System, "education is a conscious and deliberate effort to create an atmosphere of learning and the learning process so that learners are actively developing the potential for him to have the spiritual strength of religious, self-control, personality, noble character as well as the necessary skills themselves, society, the nation and the state". Full day school learning system is one of the creations and innovations to make school learning superior, innovative and creative with an integrated learning system which is based on faith and piety, as well as science and technology (science), which took a full day at school with the enactment additional hours of lessons so that students are able to explore each subject with a proportionate amount of time and use a format that is interesting in learning. While learning achievement here is the result of learning activities stated in the form of numbers, letters or symbols that may reflect the results achieved by each student in a given period.
Formulation of the problem used in this thesis are: 1) How is the implementation of full day school at MTs Al-Bukhary Labuhan Sreseh Sampang? 2)What are the factors supporting and inhibiting the implementation of full day school at MTs Al-Bukhary Labuhan Sreseh Sampang? 3) How does the role of full day school in improving student achievement at MTs Al-Bukhary Labuhan Sreseh Sampang?. This study has the objective, namely: 1) To determine the application of full day school at MTs Al-Bukhary Labuan Sreseh Sampang. 2) To know the factors supporting and inhibiting the implementation of full day school at MTs Al-Bukhary Labuhan Sreseh Sampang. 3) To determine the role of full day school in improving student achievement at MTs Al-Bukhary Labuhan Sreseh Sampang.
The method applied in this study include (1) Approach and Type of Study: This study was conducted by using a qualitative descriptive approach. (2) The presence of researchers, (3) Data collection: Observation Techniques, Interview Techniques, and Technical Documentation. (4) Data Analysis Techniques: To analyze the qualitative data analysis techniques the author uses descriptive.
From these results it can be concluded that the full day school learning systems in MTs. Al-Bukhary Sampang began at 6:45 to 15:30 pm. By considering the length of time in school, the school uses proven strategies that resemble the format pattern learning games/game, but still contains elements of education means learning while playing "my playing is my learning and my learning is my playing". In addition, teachers use a variety of learning methods such as alphabetical learning, penance asked, matching cards, etc., as well as different learning settings such as on school grounds, in campus II, etc. by creating a learning atmosphere 3M (fun, exciting and educating). Achievement of full day school students reflected on the achievements of the students, both in academic and non-academic. Thus, full day school learning systems have an important role in improving student achievement.
