Pengaruh variabel makro ekonomi terhadap indeks harga saham sektoral

Investor berkepentingan untuk melakukan peramalan terhadap perubahan yang akan terjadi di pasar modal sehingga menghasilkan keputusan investasi yang tepat dan menguntungkan, dan untuk melakukan proses peramalan tersebut investor perlu menganalisis perubahan ekonomi makro yang sedang dan akan terjadi. Perubahan satu variabel makro ekonomi memiliki dampak yang berbeda terhadap setiap jenis saham. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meneliti perbedaan reaksi harga tiap sektor saham terhadap pergerakan variabel makro ekonomi yaitu inflasi, suku bunga BI, Kurs Rupiah terhadap US$ dan Harga Minyak.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskripsi serta teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh. Data yang digunakan adalah data perbulan periode 2011-2015. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel Inflasi, Suku Bunga BI, Kurs Rupiah terhadap US$ dan Harga Minyak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap masing-masing harga saham sektoral. Kemudian secara parsial Kurs berpengaruh terhadap masing-masing harga saham sektoral. Suku Bunga BI hanya berpengaruh terhadap harga saham sektor pertanian, sektor pertambangan, sektor Industri Dasar dan Kimia, sektor Aneka Industri, sektor Industri Barang dan Konsumsi, sektor Properti dan Real Estate serta sektor Perdagangan, Jasa dan Investasi. Variabel Harga Minyak hanya berpengaruh terhadap harga saham sektor pertambangan, sektor Industri Dasar dan Kimia, sektor Aneka Industri serta sektor Perdagangan, Jasa dan Investasi. Inflasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap masing-masing harga saham sektoral.

Investors are interested in forecasting the changes that will occur in the capital market so as to produce the right and profitable investment decisions, and to do the forecasting process, the investors need to analyze the macro-economic changes that are and will happen. Changes in the macro-economic variable have different impact on each type of shares. The purpose of this study is to investigate different price reaction in each stock sector towards the movements in macro-economic variables which are inflation, BI rate interest, rate of Rupiah against the US $ and oil price.

This study uses descriptive quantitative approach with saturated sampling as its sampling technique. The data used is monthly data of period 2011-2015. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis.

The results of the study showed that simultaneously, the variable Inflation, Interest Rate BI, Rate of Rupiah against the US $ and the Oil Price have significant effect on each sectoral stock price. Then partially, exchange rate effected on each sectoral stock price. BI interest rate only affected the stock prices of agricultural sector, mining sector, basic industry and chemistry, miscellaneous Industry sector, Industrial Goods sector and Consumption, Property and Real Estate sector as well as the Trade, Services and Investment. Variable Oil price only affected the stock price of mining sector, Basic Industry and Chemical Industry miscellaneous sector as well as the trade, services and investment. Finally, inflation did not affect any sectoral stock price.
