Abstract
ABSTRAK
Minat merupakan dorongan yang berasal dari dalam diri seseorang yang muncul dan tumbuh secara sukarela atau dengan tanpa ada paksaan. Begitu juga dengan minat belajar akan mendorong siswa untuk lebih memahami pelajaran sehingga akan menghasilkan dampak positif terhadap peningkatakan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Adanya kemampuan berpikir kritis sangatlah penting, terutama ketika mempelajari pelajaran agama seperti Fikih yang berhubungan dengan ibadah,mu‟amalah maupun lainnya. Mayoritas siswa di MTs Al-Ihsan adalah santri, sedangkan di pondok pesantren juga terdapat pelajaran mengenai Fikih. Namun titik permasalahannya adalah karena di pesantren sudah diajarkan Fikih, maka mereka menjadi kurang berminat ketika mempelajarinya di sekolah. Selain itu di pondok pesantren pembelajarannya lebih berpusat pada guru, sehingga menjadikan siswa kurang memiliki kemampuan untuk berpikir secara kritis.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran SAVI(Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectually) terhadap minat belajar serta kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII pada mata pelajaran Fikih di MTs Al-Ihsan Blambangan.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan non equivalent control group design. Kelas A sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah 15 siswa dan kelas B sebagai kelas kontrol dengan 18 siswa. Adapun metode pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, angket,tes, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji sample t-test dan uji N-Gain.
Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh (1) Model pembelajaran SAVI efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Hasil independent sample t-test (2-tailed) <0,05 yaitu sebesar 0,000. (2) Model pembelajaran SAVI kurang efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil N-Gain kelas eksperimen adalah sebesar 45,0043 atau45%. (3)Terdapat pengaruh antara model pembelajaran SAVI terhadap minat belajar siswa, hasil Sig (2-tailed) <0,05 , yaitu sebesar 0,000, sedangkan model pembelajaran SAVI tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, hasil Sig (2-tailed) >0,05 yaitu sebesar 0,904.
ABSTRACT
Interest is a motivation that comes from within a person who appears and grows voluntarily or with no coercion. Interest will encourage the owner to want to know more, pay more attention, and understand something in depth. Similarly, the interest in learning will encourage students to better understand the lesson so that it will have a positive impact on improving students' critical thinking skills. Having the ability to think critically is very important, especially when studying religious subjects such as Jurisprudence which is related to worship, mu'amalah and others.The majority of students at MTs Al-Ihsan are santri, while in boarding schools there are also Fiqh lessons. But theb problem point is because in pesantren have been taught Fiqh, then they become less interested when learning Fiqh in school. Besides, in boarding schools the learning is more teacher-centered, thus making students less able to think critically. Therefore, to increase the interest in learning and critical thinking skills of students, the SAVI learning model is applied.
This study aims to determine the influence of the SAVI learning model on learning interests as well as the critical thinking skills of eighth-graders in Fiqh subjects at MTs Al-Ihsan Blambangan.
This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi experimental research type with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample in this study was students in class A as the experimental class and student in class B as the control class. The methods of data collection include observations, questionnaires, tests, as well as documentation. While data analysis using descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, and N-Gain.
The results of this (1) SAVI learning model is effective in increasing student interest in learning. The results of the independent sample test obtained results sig (2-tailed) <0,05 that is 0,000. (2) SAVI learning model is less effective in improving student's critical thinking skills. The results N-Gain of the experimental class was 45,0043 or 45%. (3) There is an influence between the SAVI learning model on students' learning interests, the results sig (2-tailed) <0,05 which is 0,000, while the SAVI learning model has no influence on students critical thinking skills, the result Sig (2-tailed) >0,05 which is 0,904.
