Abstract

INDONESIA

Kenaikan jabatan merupakan suatu bentuk pembinaan karir untuk pegawai negeri sipil dengan cara memenuhi beberapa syarat yang ditetapkan. Kenaikan jabatan dapat dilakukan apabila kepala bagian melakukan rekomendasi penempatan, atau pegawai yang bersangkutan telah memenuhi syarat-syarat berlaku. Sistem kenaikan jabatan yang diterapkan saat ini masih dianggap kurang maksimal karena sulitnya mengukur parameter yang ada. Sementara proses penilaian kinerja dilakukan secara rutin untuk mendapatkan feedback dan perbaikan di lingkungan kerja. Selain itu, sistem kenaikan jabatan dapat menimbulkan unsur penilaian subjektif. Permasalahan tersebut dapat diperbaiki dengan membangun Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) dengan menerapkan metode weighted product sebagai pilihan alternatif. Dalam perhitungannya, metode ini menggunakan perkalian untuk ratting atribut (kriteria), dimana rating setiap atribut harus dipangkat terlebih dahulu dengan bobot kriteria yang bersangkutan. Data sample yang digunakan pada penelitian ini diambil dari kantor BKPSDM Kota Probolinggo dengan jumlah total 30 pegawai. Dari pengujian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem pendukung keputusan dengan menggunakan metode weighted product cukup membantu proses rekomendasi kenaikan jabatan di BKPSDM Kota Probolinggo. Hasil pengujian
menunjukan tingkat akurasi sebesar 83,33%.

Promotion is a form of career development for civil servants by fulfilling several stipulated requirements. Promotion can be made if the head of the department makes a recommendation for placement, or the employee concerned has met the applicable requirements. The promotion system that is currently being implemented is still considered to be less than optimal due to the difficulty of measuring existing parameters. Meanwhile, the performance appraisal process is carried out regularly to get feedback and improvements in the work environment. In addition, the promotion system can create an element of subjective judgment. This problem can be corrected by building a Decision Support System (DSS) by applying the weighted product method as an alternative option. In its calculation, this method uses multiplication for attribute rating (criteria), where the rating of each attribute must be ranked first with the weight of the relevant criteria. The sample data used in this study were taken from the BKPSDM office of the City of Probolinggo with a total of 30 employees. From these tests, it can be concluded that the decision support system using the weighted product method is sufficient to assist the process of recommending a promotion at BKPSDM Probolinggo City. The test results show an accuracy rate of 83,33%.
