Struktur komposisi hutan mangrove di Pantai Sawah Laut Desa Kota Kusuma Kecamatan Sangkapura Pulau Bawean Kabupaten Gresik

Mangrove memiliki peranan ekologi dan ekonomi yang penting bagi lingkungan yang berada disekitarnya, Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengidentifikasi jenis tumbuhan penyusun hutan mangrove di Sawah Laut Kota Kusuma Kecamatan Sangkapura Pulau Bawean Kebupaten Gresik (2). Untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman hutan mangrove di Pantai Sawah Laut Kota Kusuma Kecamatan Sangkapura Pulau Bawean Kebupaten Gresik.

Metode yang digunakan adalah menggunakan metode transek kuadrat yaitu dengan menarik garis lurus memanjang dari tepi pantai sampai ke area yang tidak ada pohon mangrovenya. Lokasi penelitian dibagi menjadi 6 stasiun disepanjang garis pantai manggrove laut sungai. Setiap stasiun dibuat 7 plot. Pembagian jarak antara stasiun stasiun adalah 1 m². Kemudian dibuat transek dimasing-masing stasiun dengan panjang berkisar 100 m² dari pinggir darat sampai pada area yang tidak ditumbuhi pohon mangrove luasnya 1 Km². Hutan mangrove di Pantai Sawah Laut Desa Kota Kusuma Kecamatan Sangkapura Pulau Bawean Kabupaten Gresik, Pada setiap transek, data vegetasi diambil dengan menggunakan metode kuadrat berukuran 10x10 m2 untuk stadium pohon (diameter >10 cm) dan ukuran 5x5 m2 untuk stadium pancang (pole).

Setelah didapatkan struktur komposisi mangrove tumbuhan yang paling mendominasi dari famili Rhizhopora lamarki dengan INP sebesar 236,981% dalam fase pohon sedangkan pada fase pancang INP sebesar 136,279%. Sedangkan Berdasarkan indeks Shannon-Wiener, tingkat keanekaragaman mangrove di Pantai Sawah Laut Desa Kota Kusuma Kecamatan Sangkapura Pulau Bawean Kabupaten Gresik spesies pohon mangrove tergolong rendah, karena komunitas mangrove di Pantai Sawah Laut disusun oleh sedikit spesies dan hanya satu spesies yang dominan yaitu Rhizhopora lamarki.

He method used is to use quadratic transect method is to draw a straight line extending from the coast up to an area of mangrove trees that do not exist .. Study site was divided into 6 stations along the mangrove shoreline north of the river. Each station is made 7 plot. The division of the distance between stations is 1 m² station. Then enter the respective transects made the station with a length of around 100 m² of land to the edge of the area not covered with mangrove trees is 1 km ².
