Abstract
INDONESIA:
Urgensi dari penelitian dari pengembangan media pembelajaran komik adalah menjadikan siswa nyaman dan senang dalam pembelajaran IPS khususnya dalam materi sejarah. Siswa mendapatkan kesan yang berbeda dari pembelajaran sejarah sebelumnya dengan bantuan media ini siswa mampu meningkatkan potensi ingatan dan meningkatnya prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian dan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis komik ini dikembangkan pada materi sejarah masuknya islam di Indonesia pada kelas VII SMP Annur Bululawang.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengidentifikasi langkah-langkah pengembangan media prmbelajaran berbasis komik yang tepat pada mata pelajaran IPS materi masuknya islam di Indonesia kelas VII SMP Annur Bululawang (2) Menilai kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis komik pada mata pelajaran IPS materi masuknya islam di Indonesia pada siswa kelas VII SMP Annur Bululawang berdasarkan ahli media dan ahli materi.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan yaitu ADDIE. Dalam menentukan hasil kelayakan produk yang dikembangkan peneliti menggunakan angket validasi ahli media, ahli materi, praktisi dan uji T dari respon siswa sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis komik.
Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan seperti berikut: (1) pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis komik melalui 5 (lima) tahapan yaitu analisis, perencanaan, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. (2) berdasarkan uji kevalidan media dan didapatkan hasil kevalidan 72% dengan kategori Cukup valid, cukup menarik/ tidak revisi, ahli materi 76% dengan kategori Cukup valid, cukup menarik/ tidak revisi dan hasil uji T yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang segnifikan antara hasil respon siswa sebelum (before) dan sesudah (after) penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis komik.
ENGLISH:
The urgency of research on the development of comic-based media is to make students comfortable and happy in social studies learning, especially in historical material. Students get a different impression from previous history learning with the help of this media students are able to increase the potential for memory and increase student learning achievement. This research and development of comic-based learning media was developed on the material on the history of the entry of Islam in Indonesia in grade VII SMP Annur Bululawang.
The objectives of this study were (1) Identifying the appropriate steps for developing comic-based learning media in the social studies subject, the material for the entry of Islam in Indonesia in grade VII SMP Annur Bululawang (2) Assessing the feasibility of comic-based learning media on social studies subjects, the entry material of Islam. in Indonesia in grade VII SMP Annur Bululawang based on media experts and material experts.
The method used in this research is research and development or Research and Development (R&D) with a development model, namely ADDIE. In determining the feasibility of the product developed, the researcher used a validation questionnaire for media experts, material experts, practitioners and the T test of student responses before and after using comic-based learning media.
The results of research and development are as follows: (1) development of comic-based learning media through 5 (five) stages namely analysis, planning, development, implementation and evaluation. (2) based on the media validity test and 72% validity results were obtained in the category of Enough valid, quite interesting / not revised, 76% of material experts were categorized as Quite valid, quite interesting / not revised and the results of the T test which stated that there was a significant difference between the results of student responses before (before) and after (after) the use of comic-based learning media.
