Abstract
ABSTRAK:
Metode pembelajaran yang dianut pada perguruan tinggi mulai mengalami perubahan yakni dari bentuk Teacher Centered Learning (TCL) ke Student Centered Learning (SCL). Salah satu bentuk pembelajaran SCL adalah metode pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) melalui diskusi tutorial. Diskusi tutorial adalah kegiatan akademik terstruktur dalam bentuk diskusi kelompok untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran melalui pembahasan materi tutorial berupa skenario oleh Mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan adanya hubungan antara efektivitas diskusi tutorial terhadap penguasaan materi tutorial oleh Mahasiswa PSPD FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian observasional dengan teknik cross sectional study. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 49 orang responden yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner Efektifitas Diskusi Tutorial dan kuesioner Penguasaan Materi Tutorial, serta dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat.
Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara efektivitas diskusi tutorial dengan penguasaan materi tutorial oleh mahasiswa PSPD FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Disarankan untuk penelitian selanjutnya berupa efektivitas tutorial dengan menggunakan teknik sampling probabilitas sehingga hasil penelitian yang didapat bisa digeneralisasikan, serta penelitian terhadap faktor tutor dan faktor skenario.
ABSTRACT:
The learning method adopted in higher education has begun to change, namely from the form of Teacher Centered Learning (TCL) to Student Centered Learning (SCL). One form of SCL learning is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning method through tutorial discussions. Tutorial discussion is a structured academic activity in the form of group discussion to achieve learning objectives through discussion of tutorial material in the form of scenarios by students. This study aims to prove the existence of a relationship between the effectiveness of tutorial discussions on the mastery of tutorial material by PSPD FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang Students. The research method used was an observational study with a cross sectional study technique. The subjects of this study were 49 respondents who were taken by purposive sampling. The research data were collected using a questionnaire instrument of Tutorial Discussion Effectiveness and Tutorial Material Mastery questionnaire, and analyzed by univariate and bivariate analysis.
The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between the effectiveness of tutorial discussion and the mastery of tutorial material by PSPD FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang students. It is recommended for further research in the form of tutorial effectiveness using probability sampling techniques so that the results obtained can be generalized, as well as research on tutor factors and scenario factors.
