Analisis kemampuan representasi Matematika dalam penyelesaian soal cerita materi bangun datar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Plampangrejo

Kemampuan representasi matematika merupakan kemampuan yang dimiliki siswa untuk menyatakan suatu ide atau gagasan matematika untuk mencari solusi dari suatu masalah yang dihadapinya. Kemampuan representasi matematika menurut Muzakir diklasifikasikan menjadi tiga yaitu, representasi visual, representasi ekspresi matematika dan representasi kata-kata. Kemampuan representasi matematika pada diri siswa berguna untuk mempermudah dalam membangun konsep dan berpikir matematik serta untuk mempunyai kemampuan dan pemahaman konsep yang kuat.

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengetahui kemampuan representasi matematika siswa kelas IV dalam penyelesaian soal cerita materi bangun datar di SD Negeri 2 Plampangrejo.

Untuk mencapai tujuan di atas, digunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan model analisis Miles and Huberman.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan representasi matematika yang digunakan siswa kelas IV dalam penyelesaian soal cerita materi bangun datar SD Negeri 2 Plampangrejo yaitu representasi visual, representasi ekspresi matematika dan representasi berupa kata-kata. Representasi visual cenderung digunakan siswa saat menyelesaikan soal kategori sulit. Representasi ekspresi matematika cenderung digunakan siswa untuk menyelesaikan semua tipe soal, baik soal yang mudah, sedang maupun sulit. Representasi berupa kata-kata jarang digunakan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita.

Mathematical representation ability is the ability that students have to express a mathematical idea to find solutions of the problems they face. mathematical representation ability according to Muzakir is classified into three names, those are visual representation, representation of mathematical expressions and representation of words. Mathematical representation ability in students are useful to facilitate in building concepts with mathematical thinking and to have the ability and understanding of strong concepts.

The researcher’s objectives to describe and know mathematical representation ability of the 4th grade students in solving the story question about two-dimentional figure material in SD Negeri 2 Plampangrejo.

To achieve the above objectives, a qualitative approach with the type of descriptive research is used. Data collection techniques that used are tests, interviews and documentation. Data analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis model.

The results showed that, Mathematical representation ability used by the 4th grade students in solving the story question about two-dimentional figure material in SD Negeri 2 Plampangrejo namely visual representation, representation of mathematical expressions and representation of words. Visual representations tend to be used by students when they were solving difficult questions. The representation of mathematical expressions tends to be used by students to solve all types of questions, both easy, medium or difficult questions. Representation of words are rarely used by students in solving story questions.

كفاءة التمثيل الحسابي هي الكفاءة التي يمتلكها الطلاب للتعبير عن فكرة أو أفكار حسابية لإيجاد حلول لمشكلة يواجهونها. تنقسم كفاءة التمثيل الحسابي عند رأي مذكر إلى ثلاثة أقسام وهي التمثيل البصري، تمثيل التعبيرات الحسابية وتمثيل الكلمات. إن كفاءة التمثيل الحسابي لدى الطلاب مفيدة في تسهيل بناء المفاهيم الرياضية والتفكير فيها، وأن يكون لديها معرفة وفهم قويين للمفاهيم.

الأهداف من هذا البحث هي لوصف ومعرفة كفاءة التمثيل الحسابي في حل سؤال القصة لمادة شكل المسطحة في فصل الرابع بمدرسة 2 فلامفاغ ريجو الإبتدائية الحكومية.

تستخدم المدخل الكيفي والمنهج الوصفي لتحقيق الأهداف المذكورة أعلاه. وأما طريقة جمع البيانات هي التفتيش، المقابلة والملاحظة. ويستخدم عرض البيانات عند ميليس وحوبرمان.

أوضحت نتائج البحث أن: كفاءة التمثيل الحسابي التي يستخدمها الطلاب في فصل الرابع لحل سؤال القصة لمادة شكل المسطحة بمدرسة 2 فلامفاغ ريجو الإبتدائية الحكومية هي التمثيل البصري، تمثيل التعبيرات الحسابية وتمثيل الكلمات. يميل الطلاب إلى استخدام التمثيل البصري لحل السؤال الصعبة. ويميل الطلاب إلى استخدام تمثيل التعبيرات الحسابية لحل جميع أنواع السؤال إما سهلة كانت، متوسطة كانت أو صعبة كانت. ونادرا ما يستخدم الطلاب تمثيل الكلمات لحل سؤال القصة.
