Tradisi Dhempok dalam perkawinan masyarakat Pocangan perspektif Al Urf Desa Pocangan, Kecamatan Sukowono, Kabupaten Jember

Tradisi Dhempok merupakan tradisi pemilihan jodoh atau kesesuain antara pasangan dalam memilih pasangan yang dilihat dari hari lahir calon mempelai laki laki dan calon mempelai perempuan, tradisi ini dilkasanakan sebelum akad nikah, masyarakat mempercayai bahwa dengan kesesuain hari dan tanggal laki laki dengan calon mempelai perempuan yang tepat dalam suatu pernikahan dapat pula mendapatkan kehidupan yang baik dan terhindar dari suatu hal yang tidak diinginkan. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tata cara pelaksanaan tradisi Dhempok dan mengkolaborasikan fakta masyarakat dengan analisis Al Urf

Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian empiris atau penelitian lapangan (field research). Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif untuk rumusan pertama dan pendekatan analisis Al Urf untuk rumusan yang kedua. Adapun sumber data yang digunakan yakni data primer dan sekunder. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terhadap fenomena yang peneliti bahas, peneliti memperoleh kesimpulan bahwa tradisi Dhempok adalah Dari segi obyeknya tradisi Dhempok ini masuk pada Al Urf Al-Amali (adat istiadat/kebiasaan yang menyangkut perbuatan). Dari segi keabsahan nya peneliti mengakatagorikan tradisi ini termasuk pada urf shahih (tradisi yang baik).

The Dhempok Tradition is a tradition of choosing marriage mates or suitability between couples in choosing a partner seen from the birthdays of the bridegroom and bride, the public believes that with the suitability of the day and date the man and the bride to be in the right marriage can also get a good life and avoid things that are not desirable. The focus of this research is to find out the procedures for carrying out the Dhempok tradition and collaborating community facts with al-Urf analysis.

This research is included in empirical research or field research. In this study, researchers used a descriptive approach for the first formula and an al-urf analysis approach for the second formula. The data sources used are primary and secondary data. Data collection methods used in this study consisted of observations, interviews and documentation.

Based on the results of an analysis of the phenomena that the researchers discussed, the researcher came to the conclusion that the tradition of Dhempok is that in terms of its object, the Dhempok is included in Al-Urf Al-Amali (customs / habits regarding actions). In terms of its validity the researcher categorizes this tradition including the "urf saheeh (good tradition)
