Abstract
Indonesia:
Hipertensi adalah suatu keadaan seseorang mengalami peningkatan tekanan darah lebih dari 140/90 mmHg yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor yang bisa diubah, seperti: obesitas, kurangnya aktifitas fisik, merokok, pola konsumsi makanan, stress; dan faktor yang tidak bisa diubah, seperti: usia, genetik, jenis kelamin. Sebanyak 70% penderita hipertensi tidak menyadarinya, yang terdeteksi saat tekanan darahnya diperiksa pada tempat pelayanan kesehatan. Di Indonesia kasus hipertensi menempati urutan penyakit terbanyak, khususnya pada lansia (umur 45 tahun ke atas).
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan diet hipertensi dengan derajat hipertensi pada lansia penderita hipertensi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh lansia penderita hipertensi yang bertempat tinggal di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Junrejo, Kota Batu. Penentuan sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik Slovin sebanyak 69 responden dengan menggunakan proporsional cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian analitik korelatif berupa cross sectional study.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan diet hipertensi dengan derajat hipertensi pada lansia penderita hipertensi (p = 0,000) dengan probabilitas < level of significance (α = 0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan diet hipertensi yang kurang dapat menyebabkan kurangnya kesadaran dalam penatalaksanaan dan pencegahan peningkatan derajat hipertensi pada lansia. Disarankan agar perlunya ditingkatkan upaya pemulihan demi menambah pengetahuan tentang diet hipertensi kepada lansia penderita hipertensi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Junrejo, Kota Batu.

Hypertension is a condition where a person has an increase in blood pressure more than 140/90 mmHg which is influenced by factors that can be changed, for example: obesity, lack of physical activity, smoking, food consumption patterns, stress; and factors that cannot be changed, for example: age, genetic, sex. As many as 70% of people with hypertension do not realize it, which is detected when their blood pressure is checked at a health service. In Indonesia, hypertension cases rank the most, especially in the elderly (aged 45 years and over).
This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of hypertension diet knowledge with the degree of hypertension in the elderly with hypertension. The subjects of this study were all elderly with hypertension who lived in the work area of the Puskesmas Junrejo, Kota Batu. The determination of the research sample was carried out using the Slovin technique of 69 respondents using proportional cluster random sampling. This study uses a correlative analytic research design in the form of a cross sectional study.
The results showed that there is an association between the knowledge level of hypertension diet with the degree of hypertension in the elderly with hypertension (p = 0,000) with a probability <level of significance (α = 0.05), so it can be concluded that the level of hypertension diet knowledge that can cause lack awareness in the management and prevention of increasing degrees of hypertension in the elderly. It is suggested that the need for increased recovery efforts in order to increase knowledge about the hypertension diet to the elderly with hypertension in the working area of the Puskesmas Junrejo, Kota Batu.
