Abstract

INDONESIA:

ENGLISH:

A business process is a collection of structured activities that are interrelated to produce specific goals or outputs. The more complex business processes is used, the more complex its model, so we need a metric to measure the complexity of business process models. This study aims to determine the complexity of business process model metrics that will be compared with CADAC which has already formulated the complexity of business process model metrics.

The formulation of this complexity metric uses the Goal Question Metric (GQM) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. After formulating the complexity metric, the business process model is named BPMCM (Business Process Model Complexity Metric). The comparison of BPMCM with CADAC is done at the data analysis stage of the business process model dataset and at the validation stage. The dataset used is a business process model dataset with various kinds of complexity. The validation used is a theoretical validation using Weyuker‟s Properties.

After comparing the results of the dataset analysis and BPMCM validation with CADAC, it can be concluded that BPMCM is more sensitive than CADAC to changes in the complexity of the business process model. Changes in the complexity of business process models include changes in elements, branching, number of branches, depth, the presence of cyclic and the number of arcs in cyclic.
