Abstract
INDONESIA:
Rehabilitasi merupakan proses perbaikan yang ditujukan pada penderita cacat atau anak tunarungu agar mereka cakap berbuat untuk memiliki seoptimal mungkin kegunaan jasmani, rohani, sosial, pekerjaan dan ekonomi. Keberhasilan dari rehabilitiasi itu tergantung dari motivasi sang penderita dalam mengembangkan potensinya seoptimal mungkin, karena para ahli hanya dapat memberikan petunjuk, bimbingan, kemudahan fasilitas dan mendorong penderita untuk keberhasilan program rehabilitasi yang sedang dijalaninya. Setelah rehabilitasi dinyatakan berhasil, maka sang penderita akan memiliki kemandirian dalam mencari pekerjaan.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk 1) Mendeskripsikan pola rehabilitasi anak tunarungu dalam menyiapkan kemandirian pasca rehabilitasi di UPT Rehabilitasi Bina Sosial Rungu Wicara Pasuruan, 2) Mendeskripsikan implementasi pola rehabilitasi anak tunarungu dalam menyiapkan kemandirian pasca rehabilitasi di UPT Rehabilitasi Sosial Bina Rungu Wicara Pasuruan, dan 3) Mendeskripsikan hasil penerapan pola rehabilitasi anak tunarungu dalam menyiapkan kemandirian pasca rehabilitasi di UPT Rehabilitasi Sosial Bina Rungu Wicara Pasuruan.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah klien, instruktur, dan pegawai. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) pola rehabilitasi yang digunakan oleh pihak UPT dalam menyiapkan kemandirian anak tunarungu adalah rehabilitasi vokasional dalam kelas keterampilan pokok dan pilihan sesuai dengan bakat dan minat klien masing-masing, (2) Implementasi dari pola rehabilitasi dilakukan melalui delapan tahapan yaitu : Tahap pendekatan awal (pra rehabilitasi), Tahap penelaahan dan pengungkapan masalah, Tahap penempatan dalam proses pelayanan, Tahap perencanaan pelayanan, Tahap pelayanan dan rehabilitasi sosial, Tahap resosialisasi, Tahap pembinaan lanjut, dan yang terakhir Tahap terminasi, (3) Hasil penerapan rehabilitasi dapat diketahui melalui dua penilaian yaitu: hasil belajar dan evaluasi perkembangan.

Rehabilitation is a process of improvement aimed to people with disabilities or deaf children, so that, they can optimally use physical, spiritual, social, work and economic capability. The success of rehabilitation depends on the motivation of the sufferer to develop their potential optimally, because experts can only provide guidance, direction and facilities to encourage sufferers to be successful in rehabilitation program that is being undertaken. After rehabilitation is declared successful, the sufferer will have independence in finding work.
The purpose of this study is to 1) describe the pattern of rehabilitation of deaf children in preparing post-rehabilitation independence in the Technical Training Unit (UPT) of deaf-mute social coaching rehabilitation, Pasuruan, 2) Describe the implementation of the rehabilitation pattern of deaf children in preparing for post-rehabilitation independence in the Technical Training Unit (UPT) of deaf-mute social coaching rehabilitation, Pasuruan. 2) Describe the results of applying the pattern of rehabilitation of deaf children in preparing post-rehabilitation independence in the Technical Training Unit (UPT) of deaf-mute social coaching rehabilitation, Pasuruan.
This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. Research subjects are clients, instructors, and employees. Data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. To analyze the collected data, the researcher uses reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.
The results show that (1) the patterns of rehabilitation used by the UPT in preparing the independence of deaf children are vocational rehabilitation in the class of basic skills and choices based on talents and interests of each client. (2) The implementation of the rehabilitation pattern is carried out through eight stages. They are the initial approach stage (pre-rehabilitation), the review and disclosure stage of the problem, the placement stage in the service process, the service planning stage, the social rehabilitation and service stage, the resocialization stage, the advanced coaching stage, and finally the termination stage, (3) the results of the application rehabilitation can be known through two assessments. They are learning outcomes and development evaluation.
