Abstract

INDONESIA:

Guru sebagai salah satu faktor penentu keberhasilan pendidikan, dalam menjalankan tugasnya perlu memiliki seperangkat ilmu tentang bagaimana ia harus mendidik anak. Guru bukan hanya sekadar terampil dalam menyampaikan materi ajar, namun ia juga harus mampu mengembangkan pribadi anak, mengembangakn watak anak, dan mengembangkan serta mempertajam nurani anak.

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan Bagaimana Upaya Guru Dalam meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan sosial di SMP Bahrul Maghfiroh Malang, mengetahui Kendala yang dihadapi Guru dan solusi yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Ilmu pengetahuan Sosial di SMP Bahrul Maghfiroh Malang, Mendeskripsikan Implikasi Upaya Guru dalam meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Ilmu pengetahuan Sosial di SMP Bahrul Maghfiroh Malang.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Kualitatif, untuk pengumpulan data peneliti melakukan dengan mengadakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Subjek Penelitiannya adalah Guru bidang IPS dan sampel siswa kelas VII SMP Bahrul Maghfiroh Malang. Sedangkan pemeriksaan data dilakukan dengan memberikan makna terhadap data yang dikumpulkan, kemudian ditarik kesimpulan.

Hasil dari Penelitian ini adalah 1.) Terdapat Upaya yang dilakukan Guru antara lain, menggunakan sistem hadiah dan hukuman , hadiah agar meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, dan hukuman untuk mengendalikan perilaku, guru menggunakan berbagai varian metode pembelajaran, time table, rangkuman, kerangka berfikir, positif negatif di tabel 2.) Terdapat kendala yaitu kurangnya motivasi belajar contohnya siswa ketika belajar harus ditegur solusi menggunakan kompetisi, komunikatif, menggabungkan teori dan praktek 3.) Implikasi Upaya Motivasi yang didapatkan dari pembelajaran IPS, yaitu pembelajaran yang dibawakan oleh Pak Afan menyenangkan dan materi mudah dipahami oleh siswa.

The teacher as one of the determinants of educational success, in carrying out their duties needs to have a set of knowledge about how he should educate children. The teacher is not only skilled in delivering teaching material, but he must also be able to develop the child's personality, develop the child's character, and develop and sharpen the child's conscience.The purpose of this study are to describe how the efforts of teachers in improving learning motivation in social science subjects at Bahrul Maghfiroh Junior High School Malang, to know the obstacles faced by the teacher and the solutions carried out in improving Social Science Learning Motivation at Bahrul Maghfiroh Malang Junior High School, to describe the Implications of The Teacher’s Efforts in improving the Learning Motivation in Social Sciences at Bahrul Maghfiroh Middle School Malang. This study uses a qualitative approach. For data collection, the researcher conducted observations, interviews, and documentation. The subject of the study were the Social Sciences teacher and the sample of VII grade students of Bahrul Maghfiroh Malang Middle School. Meanwhile checking the data was done by giving meaning to the data collected, then conclusions were drawn.The results of this study are 1.). There are efforts made by the teacher, among others, using a system of rewards and punishments, prizes to increase student motivation, and penalties for controlling behavior, the teacher uses various variants of learning methods, time tables, summaries, frameworks of thinking, positive and negative in the table 2.) There are obstacles, namely the lack of motivation to learn, for example students when learning must be reprimanded for solutions using competition, communicative, combining theory and practice 3.) Implications of Motivation Efforts obtained from social studies learning, namely learning delivered by Mr. Afan is fun and the material is easily understood by students
