Abstract

ABSTRACT

Learning outcome is the changes in a person's behavior cognitively, affectively, and psychomotor after participating in a teaching and learning process. Learning outcome can be measured by certain tests according to the studiedfield. Learning outcome is not only influenced by students' internal and external factors, but is also influenced by teacher competence. The factors that influence learning outcome include pedagogical and professional competence of teacher.

The purposes of the research are to (1) prove the significant influence of pedagogical competence of teacher against the Student Learning Outcomes of IV class at Islamic Elementary School 1 of Jombang, (2) prove whether the significant influence of professional competence of teacher against the Student Learning Outcomes of IV class at Islamic Elementary School 1 of Jombang and 3) prove the significant influence of pedagogical and professional competence of teacheragainst the Student Learning Outcomes of IV class at Islamic Elementary School 1 of Jombang

The research was conducted at Islamic Elementary School 1 of Jombang using a quantitative approach with descriptive correlational research. The research took samples by random sampling to all students in fourth grade which numbered 72 objects of the research. The instrument of the research used questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis.

The research results showed that (1) there is significant influence of pedagogical competence (X1) against the student learning outcome (Y) of IV class at Islamic Elementary School 1 of Jombang. This showed that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted due to T count>T table (2,015>1.997) with the level of significance of (0.048 <0.05), meaning that there is significant influence of pedagogical competence of teacher(X1) against the student learning outcome (Y), (2) there is a significant influence of teacher professional competence (X2) against the student learning outcome (Y) at Islamic Elementary School 1 of Jombang. This showed that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted due to the value of Tcount > Ttable (2.052 > 1.997) with a significance level of (0.044 < 0.05), meaning that there is a significant influence of professional competence of teacher (X2) against the student learning outcome (Y), and (3) there is influence between pedagogical (X1) and professional competence of teacher (X2) against the student learning outcome (Y) at Islamic Elementary School 1 of Jombang. This showed that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted because it was obtained Fcount>Ftable (3,495 > 3,13) with a significance level of (0,030 < 0,05), meaning that there is significant influence between pedagogical competence (X1) and professional competence (X2) of teacher against the student learning outcome (Y).

ABSTRAK

Hasil belajar merupakan perubahan tingkah laku seseorang yang mencakup kemampuan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik setelah mengikuti suatu proses belajar mengajar. Hasil belajar dapat diukur dengan tes tertentu sesuai bidang yang dipelajari. Hasil belajar tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal siswa saja, tetapi juga dipengaruhi oleh kompetensi guru.

Adapun faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar diantaranya adalah kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional guru.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) membuktikan ada tidaknya pengaruh signifikan kompetensi pedagogik guru terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV di MIN 1 Jombang, (2) membuktikan ada tidaknya pengaruh signifikan kompetensi profesional guru terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV di MIN 1 Jombang, dan (3) membuktikan ada tidaknya pengaruh signifikan kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional guru terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV di MIN 1 Jombang.

Penelitian ini dilakukan di MIN 1 Jombang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif korelasional. Penelitian ini mengambil sampel secara random sampling ke seluruh siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 72 sebagai objek penelitian. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan angket dan dokumen. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kompetensi pedagogik (X1) terhadap hasil belajar siswa (Y) kelas IV di MIN 1 Jombang. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima karena diperoleh nilai thitung> ttabel yakni 2,015> 1,997) dengan tingkat signifikansinya 0,048 <0,05 artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kompetensi pedagogik guru (X1) terhadap hasil belajar siswa (Y), (2) terdapat pengaruh signifikan kompetensi profesional guru (X2) terhadap hasil belajar siswa (Y) di MIN 1 Jombang. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima karena diperoleh nilai thitung> t tabel yakni 2,052 > 1,997 dengan tingkat signifikansinya 0,044 <0,05, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kompetensi profesional guru (X2) terhadap hasil belajar siswa (Y), dan (3) terdapat pengaruh antara kompetensi pedagogik (X1) dan profesional guru (X2) terhadap hasil belajar siswa (Y) di MIN 1 Jombang. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak karena diperoleh Fhitung > Ftabel yakni 3.495 > 3,13 dengan tingkat signifikansinya 0,030 < 0,05 artinya terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan antara kompetensi pedagogik (X1) dan profesional guru (X2) terhadap hasil belajar siswa (Y).
