Abstract
Indonesia:
Kiai merupakan central figure di setiap pesantren. Central figure Kiai bukan saja karena keilmuannya, melainkan juga karena Kiai lah yang menjadi pendiri, pemilik dan pewakaf pesantren itu sendiri perjuangan dan pengorbanannya tidak terbatas pada ilmu, tenaga dan waktu, tetapi juga tanah dan materi lainnya diberikan demi kemajuan syiar Islam.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengetahui bentuk pembinaan akhlak yang ada di pesantren Roudhotul Jannah Mergosono Malang, (2) mengetahui peran kiai dalam pembinaan akhlak santri di pesantren Roudhotul Jannah Mergosono Malang, (3) mengetahui dampak pembinaan akhlak santri di pesantren Roudhotul Jannah Mergosono Malang.
Untuk mencapai tujuan diatas, digunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan pengumpulan data, mengecek kembali semua data yang telah dikumpulkan, mendeskripsikan, kemudian menarik kesimpulan. Dalam menguji keabsahan data digunakan teknik triangulasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) bentuk pembinaan akhlak di pesantren dengan memberikan pengajaran tentang akhlakul karimah melalui kitab-kitab tentang akhlak, (2) peran kiai dalam pembinaan akhlak santri, kiai sebagai pengasuh, kiai sebagai guru atau pengajar dan kiai sebagai orang tu kedua bagi santri, (3) dampak pembinaan akhlak terhadap santri memberikan nilai positif dilihat dari tingkah laku para santri dan juga menjalankan semua aturan yang ada di pesantren.
English:
Kiai is a central figure in every pesantren (Islamic Boarding School). Kiai's central figure is not only the knowledge, but also because of the founder, owner and endurer of the Islamic Boarding School itself. the struggle and sacrifice are not limited to science, energy and time, but also land and other material are given for the advancement of Islamic propagation.
The purposes of the research are to: (1) find out the form of moral development in Roudhotul Jannah Islamic Boarding School of Mergosono of Malang, (2) find out the role of the kiai in development of the Islamic student morals in Roudhotul Jannah Islamic Boarding School of Mergosono of Malang, (3) know the impact of the Islamic student character development in Roudhotul Jannah Islamic Boarding School of Mergosono of Malang.
To achieve the objectives above, it used a qualitative descriptive research approach, and the data collection techniques used interviews, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed by collecting data, rechecking all data that had been collected, then describing, then drawing conclusions. In testing the validity of the data used triangulation techniques.
The research results showed that, (1) the form of moral development in Islamic Boarding School is by giving teachings about morality through the books of morality, (2) the roles of the kiai in developing the morals of students are as a caregiver, as teacher as second parents for students, (3) the influence of moral development on the students gives a positive value that is seen from the behavior of the students, and also implement all the rules in the pesantren.
