Abstract
INDONESIA:
Melihat fenomena yang terjadi di tengah masyarakat banyak generasi muda berperilaku negatif. Bahkan karena kurangnya ilmu agama yang mereka miliki beberapa peserta didik berperilaku menyimpang. Jika dibiarkan maka generasi muda akan kehilangan etikanya dalam konteks pendidikan dan pendidikan akan hilang karakternya. Untuk mengatasi itu semua sejak dini harus dibekali dengan sikap atau akhlak yang baik agar mencegah dari perilaku-perilaku yang menyimpang. Pada saat inilah peran guru sangat mendukung dalam aspek mendidik karakter terutama pada karakter religius yang mana memiliki peluang yang sangat besar dan mempunyai tanggung jawab dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik.
Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan strategi pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter religius di MI Perwanida Kota Blitar, (2) mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter religius siswa melalui kegiatan keagamaan di MI Perwanida Kota Blitar, (3) mendeskripsikan peran guru dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter religius siswa melalui kegiatan keagamaan di MI Perwanida Kota Blitar.
Penelitian ini dilakukan di MI Perwanida Kota Blitar menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif yaitu dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul berupa kata-kata dianalisis dengan cara pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) strategi pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter religius yaitu melalui pembiasaan, keteladanan dan pembelajaran (2) pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter religius melalui kegiatan keagamaan antara lain kegaiatan shalat berjama’ah, Tahfidz, Tashih, kegiatan PHBI semuanya melalui pembiasaan dan metode yang terarah, (3) peran guru dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter siswa melalui kegiatan keagamaan yaitu guru sebagai pembimbing yaitu membimbing siswa dari dini untuk membiasakan saling menghormati kepada sesama guru , guru sebagai pendidik yang mana guru sebagai panutan bagi peserta didik, guru sebagai demonstrator yaitu guru mempraktikkan secara langsung cara berwudhu dan cara sahlat yang sesuai dengan fiqih, guru sebagai evaluator dan motivator yaitu guru mengevaluasi dan memotivasi siswa pada setiap pembelajaran Tahsin Al-qur’an.
ENGLISH:
Nowadays, many young people behave negatively in society. Even worse, some students who are lack of religious knowledge they act deviant. If it is left unchecked, the young generation will lose their ethics in the context of education, and moreover, education will lose its character. Hence, in overcoming this problem, it is excellent if all students from an early age must be equipped with good attitudes or morals to prevent deviant behaviors. Therefore, at this time, the role of the teacher is essential and supportive in the aspect of educating the character, especially on the religious character since they have a tremendous opportunity and has the responsibility in shaping the character of students.
The objectives of this study were (1) to describe the strategy of implementing religious character education in MI Perwanida Blitar City, (2) to describe the implementation of student religious character education through religious activities in MI Perwanida Blitar City, (3) to describe the role of teachers in implementing student religious character education through religious activities at MI Perwanida Blitar City.
Moreover, this research was conducted at MI Perwanida in Blitar City utilizing a qualitative research approach, which was descriptive qualitative research. Also, data were collected using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Besides, the collected data were in the form of words analyzed by collecting, reducing, presenting data, and drawing conclusions.
The results of this study describe that (1) the strategy of implementing religious character education is carried out through habituation, exemplary and learning (2) the implementation of religious character education is done through religious activities such as prayer activities in congregation, Tahfidz, Tashih, and PHBI activities which all of that is done through habituation and directed method, (3) the role of the teacher in implementing student character education through religious activities is the teacher become the guide who guide the students to familiarize with mutual respect towards the teacher, teacher as the educator is the teacher as the role model for the students, the teacher as the demonstrator means the teacher practices directly how to perform ablution and the right way in accordance with the Islamic jurisprudence, and the teacher as the evaluator and motivator means the teacher evaluates and motivates students in each Tahsin Al-Qur'an learning.
