Abstract

INDONESIA:

Pendidikan karakter adalah pendidikan yang seharusnya membawa peserta didik ke pengenalan nilai-nilai secara kognitif, penghayatan nilai secara afektif dan akhirnya ke pengalaman secara nyata.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mendeskripsikan program pembentukan karakter melalui pendidikan holistik di Sekolah Dasar Islam As-Salam Kota Malang (2) mendeskripsikan strategi pembentukan karakter melalui pendidikan holistik di Sekolah Dasar Islam As-Salam Kota Malang.

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, Instrumen kunci adalah peneliti sendiri, dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan cara mereduksi data, memaparkan data dan menarik kesimpulan.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Program pembentukan karakter melalui pendidikan holistik yang diterapkan di SDI As-Salam Kota Malang yaitu, program Student day, program kartu indisipliner, program kunjungan edukasi, program keputraan dan keputrian dan program tahfidz al-qur’an, (2) Strategi pembentukan karakter siswa melalui pendidikan holistik yang diterapkan di SDI As-Salam Kota Malang yaitu, (a) sikap keteladanan, (b) sikap kedisiplinan melalui meningkatkan motivasi siswa, mendidik dan melatih siswa, penegakkan aturan, dan penerapan riward dan punishment, (c) sikap pembiasaan contohnya selalu berkata jujur, sholat berjamaah, dan petugas upacara, (d) suasana yang kondusif dalam belajar yaitu meliputi susana kondusif belajar di lingkungan sekolah, kerjasama dengan orangtua, dan masyarakat. Serta (e) pengintegrasian dan internalisasi pendidikan karakter.

Character education is education that should bring students into the recognition of values cognitively, the appreciation of values affective and finally to real experiences

The purpose of this study was to (1) describe the character building program through holistic education in Malang As-Salam Islamic Elementary School (2) describe the strategy of character formation through holistic education at As-Salam Islamic Elementary School in Malang.

The method used in this research is a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive qualitative research, the key instruments are the researchers themselves, and the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data is analyzed by reducing data, describing data and drawing conclusions.

The results of the study show that (1) the character building program through holistic education implemented at SDI As-Salam Malang, namely, Student day program, disciplinary card program, educational visit program, sons and daughters program and tahfidz al-qur'an program, ( 2) Strategies for forming students' character through holistic education implemented at SDI As-Salam Malang. that is, (a) exemplary attitudes, (b) disciplinary attitudes through increasing student motivation, educating and training students, enforcing rules, and applying riward and punishment, (c) habitual attitudes for example always telling the truth, praying in congregation, and ceremonial officers, ( d) a conducive atmosphere for learning that includes conducive learning environment in the school environment, collaboration with parents, and the community. And (e) integration and internalization of character education.
