Abstract
ENGLISH:
The study aims to: (1) develop Sensory Carpet media as a proper educative game tool to recognize 1-2 years old-toddlers’ five senses, (2) find out the steps of Sensory Carpetlearning media development.
The study is a Research and Development research using Borg dan Gall development model. Its steps consist of initial information collection, planning, initial product development, content validation try-out, revision after content validation try-out, initial field try-out, revision after initial field try-out, try-out, the revision of final product. Then, the reseracher conducted the try-out of the product on the toodlers throught two steps sf validation test, namely the inital field try-out to two toodlers and field try-out to 6 toodlers. The product properness is based on the evaluation result of content expert and 1-2 year old-toddlers as a try-out subject. The data collection technique is descriptive quantitative.
The result shows that the Sensory Carpet mediadeveloped through a series of try-outs and expert validation is proper to use. It is supported by the mean of content validation and media validation showing 4.08 and 4.625, respectively. The mean score shows that the product is proper to use. Meanwhile, the score of initial try-out was 91.66% and the field try-out was 91.66%. Both scores show that it is proper to use.Based on the result, it can be concluded that the Sensory Carpetmedia for 1-2 years old toddler learning is proper to use.
INDONESIA:
