Abstract

INDONESIA:

Pengembangan bahan ajar IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing materi perpindahan kalor merupakan salah satu sarana dalam membantu pemahaman peserta didik agar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didikpada pembelajaran IPA kelas V SD/MI. Kebutuhan akan bahan ajar yang menarik serta menyediakan kegiatan praktikum yang mudah dan sederhana untuk peserta didik merupakan salah satu alasan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian pengembangan ini.

Tujuan penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah untuk (1) menjelaskan produk bahan ajar IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing materi perpindahan kalor untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar, (2) Menjelaskan tingkat kemenarikan bahan ajar IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing, (3) Menjelaskan hasil belajar siswa melalui penggunaan bahan ajar IPA.

Metode penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Model Pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan Borg and Gall dengan mengadopsi 6 tahapan dalam prosedur pengembangannya, yaitu 1) Potensi dan Masalah 2) Mengumpulkan informasi 3) Desain produk awal 4) Validasi desain 5) Revisi produk 6) Uji coba Pemakaian. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yakni one-group pretest-posttestdesign, dengan eksperimen before-after. Penelitian dilakukan di MI Al Hidayah Malang dengan subjek uji coba 26 siswa kelas V. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes pencapaian hasil belajar.

Hasil pengembangan yang dilakukan yakni berupa bahan ajar dalam bentuk lembar kegiatan siswa berbasis inkuiri terbimbing materi perpindahan kalor. (1) Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan memenuhi kriteria valid dengan hasil uji coba ahli materi mencapai tingkat kevalidan 91,7%, ahli desain mencapai 91,7%, ahli pembelajaran mencapai tingkat 90%. (2) Hasil uji coba untuk mengetahui tingkat kemenarikan bahan ajar IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada siswa kelas V MI Al Hidayah Malang sebesar 88,7%. (3) Hasil belajar siswa meningkat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 47,53 dan nilai rata-rata post-test sebesar 81,34%, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa bahan ajar efektif digunakan oleh siswa.

ENGLISH:

Developingthenatural science learning materials guided inquiry-based on heat transfer material is one of the means to help student’s understanding in order to improve learning outcomes of students in science learning in grade V SD / MI. The need for interesting teaching materials and providing easy and simple practical activities for students is one of the reasons behind theresearch development.

The purpose of the research and development are to (1) explain guided inquiry-based science learning materials products heat transfer material to improve learning outcomes, (2) Explain the level of attractiveness of natural science learning materials of guided inquiry-based, (3) Explain of the student learning outcomes through the use of instructional materials Science.

The research method used research and development (R & D). The Development model used is the development model of Borg and Gall by adopting 6 stages in its development procedures, namely 1) Potential and Problems 2) Gathering information 3) Initial product design 4) Design validation 5) Product revision 6) Use Test. The research design used was one-group pretest-posttest design, with experiments before-after. The study was conducted in Islamic Elementary School of Al Hidayah Malang with the subject of testing 26 students in class V. The instruments used to obtain data were using observations, interviews, questionnaires, and achievement test.

The results of the development carried out were in the form of teaching materials in the form of sheets of student activities based on guided inquiry material heat transfer. (1) The results of research and development meet valid criteria with the results of the trial of material experts reaching a validity level of 91.7%, design experts reached 91.7%, learning experts reached the level of 90%. (2) The results of the trial to find out the level of attractiveness of guided inquiry-based science teaching material for fifth grade students of Malang's Al Hidayah MI were 88.7%. (3) Student learning outcomes increase seen from the average pre-test value of 47.53 and the post-test average value of 81.34%, it can be said that effective teaching materials are used by students.
