Evaluasi sistem informasi akuntansi persediaan barang dagang dengan menggunakan metode analisis PIECES: Studi pada Minimarket Abimart Kota Malang

Perusahaan sebagai organisasi bergantung pada sistem informasi untuk dapat bersaing dan mempertahankan bisnisnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi Sistem Informasi Akuntansi persediaan barang dagang minimarket Abimart dengan metode analisis PIECES (Performance, Information, Economi, Control, Eficiency, dan Service) untuk mengetahui kelemahan dan kelebihan sistem, sehingga dapat memberikan saran-saran perbaikan demi terwujudnya sistem yang efektif dan efisien bagi perusahaan.

Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini dalam Minimarket Abimart Kota Malang dengan objek penelitian sistem informasi akuntansi persediaan barang dagang terdiri dari (sistem pengadaan, pembelian persediaan, penjualan, retur barang serta stock opname) data primer dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi serta wawancara sedangkan data sekunder meliputi teori-teori atau hasil penelitian terdahulu yang dapat menunjang penelitian.

Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa evaluasi sistem informasi akuntansi persediaan barang dagang pada Minimarket Abimart Kota Malang sudah berbasis komputer dan sudah memenuhi aspek-aspek yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan perusahaan, akan tetapi dalam analisis PIECES pada aspek Performance dibutuhkan penambahan sistem berbasis komputer selain sistem penjualan seperti sistem pendataan barang retur dan pedataan pembelian , pada Aspek Information sistem sudah dilengkapi perangkat validasi data yang cukup baik, pada aspek Economy sistem sudah memberikan manfaat yang maksimal dibanding biaya yang keluarkan, pada aspek Control sistem sudah cukup baik karena dilengkapi penyimpanan data, password dan username, serta jam akses pada website. Terakhir pada aspek Service dibutuhkan analisis investasi untuk penyimpanan persediaan dan pemaksimalan media sosial dan marketplace online yang menawarkan pemasaran di internet secara gratis demi menunjang pelayanan terhadap konsumen.

The research used a qualitative descriptive research model. The subject of this research is the Abimart Minimarket Malang City with information system research object Accounting goods supplies consist of (procurement system, purchase supplies, sales, return goods as well as stock count result). The primary data in this study was obtained through observations and interviews while secondary data included theories or results of previous research that could support research.

The result of research are showed that evaluation of information systems accounting of goods inventory at Minimarket Abimart Malang City already based computer and has fulfilled aspects tailored to the needs of the company, but in the analysis of PIECES on the Performance Aspects is needed the addition of a computer-based system in addition to sales systems such as product data collection system returns and stock opname, on the Information system is already equipped data validation device is quite good, in the Economy of the system already provides benefits that Maximum compared to the cost, on aspect Control system is good enough because it comes with data storage, password and username, as well asaccess hours on the website. In the last aspect of the Service,Investment analysis is needed for the storage of social media supplies and the online marketplace that offers Marketing on the internet for freeto support customer service.
