Abstract
INDONESIA:
Model Pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining adalah merupakan desain model pembelajaran yang menekankan kepada guru menguasai dan menyampaikan materi di awal pelajaran, lalu dilanjutkan oleh siswa untuk menjelaskan kembali materi apa yang telah disampaikan oleh guru kepada teman-temannya, dan ditutup dengan penyampaian materi. Model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining mengajak siswa untuk menyampaikan informasi yang didapatkan pada teman-temannya. Dalam model ini siswa menjadi fasilitator sehingga dapat memperbanyak pengalaman serta meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengetahui pengaruh model Student Facilitator and Explaining terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri Kota Batu (2) mengetahui pengaruh model Student Facilitator and Explaining terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri Kota Batu
Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan pretest-posttest control group. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri Kota Batu, untuk kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen masing-masing terdiri dari 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah hasil pretest dan posttest pada hasil belajar. Analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis Independent Sample T-test dengan uji prasyarat berupa uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Untuk motivasi yaitu memberi angket kuisioner kepada siswa.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) motivasi belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata 86, lebih tinggi daripada siswa kelas kontrol yaitu 78 (2) terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara model Student Facilitator and Explaining terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri Kota Batu dengan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 89,4 lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol 82. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian disarankan guru sebaiknya menerapkan berbagai model dalam pembelajaran. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya yaitu hendaknya juga mempertimbangkan materi yang sesuai dan dapat menjadi acuan untuk melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dan mengembangkan penelitian pengaruh model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining.

The learning model of Student Facilitator and Explaining is a learning model design that emphasizes the teacher mastering and delivering the material at the beginning of the lesson, then continued by students to re-explain what material has been delivered by the teacher to their friends, and closed with the delivery of material. The learning model of Student Facilitator and Explaining invites students to convey information obtained from their friends. In this model students become facilitators so that they can increase experience and to increase of student learning motivation.
The purpose of this research are: (1) to know the influence of the model of Student Facilitator and Explaining to student learning motivation of class VIII at MTs Negeri Kota Batu (2) to know the influence of the model of Student Facilitator and Explaining to IPS Learning Outcomes of Students of class VIII at MTs Negeri Kota Batu.
This research method uses quasi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest control group. The research subjects were students of class VIII MTs Negeri Kota Batu, for the control class and experimental class each consisting of 30 students. Data collection techniques used are the results of the pretest and posttest on learning outcomes. Data analysis uses the hypothesis of the Independent Sample T-test with the prerequisite test in the form of normality and homogeneity tests. For motivation, namely giving questionnaires to students.
The result of this research show that: (1) the students learning motivation of experimental class with an average of 86, higher than the control class students ie 78 (2) there was a significant influence between the model of Student Facilitator and Explaining to IPS Learning Outcomes of Students of class VIII at MTs Negeri Kota Batu with the average value of the experimental class 89.4 higher than the control class 82. Based on the results of this research suggested the teachers should apply various models in learning. For the next researchers, they should also consider appropriate material and can be a reference for conducting further research and developing research the influence of learning model of Student Facilitator and Explaining.
