Abstract

INDONESIA:

Rendahnya produksi kacang tanah di Indonesia disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti berkurangnya lahan pertanian, minimnya pengetahuan petani mengenai teknik budidaya, serta berbagai permasalahan baik teknis maupun non teknis lainnya. Penggusuran lahan pertanian dari tempat tinggal dan pusat industri menjadikan lahan pertanian semakin berkurang. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu penanaman yang singkat yaitu dengan sistem penanaman bertingkat, akan tetapi pada sistem penanaman bertingkat ini tidak sepenuhnya cahaya dapat diterima oleh tanaman. Hal ini akan menjadikan tanaman kekurangan cahaya dan menimbulkan gejala etiolasi. Salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk menunjang pertumbuhan tanaman kacang tanah yaitu dengan penambahan penerangan lampu LED (Light Emite Dioda). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengetahui pengaruh warna lampu LED (Light Emite Dioda) terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kacang tanah. (2) mengetahui pengaruh intensitas lampu LED (Light Emite Dioda) terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kacang tanah. Penelitian ini menggunakan biji kacang tanah varietas brul yang telah disortir. Terdapat 3 perlakuan warna paparan lampu LED (merah, biru, kuning) dan 5 perlakuan besar paparan lampu LED (10, 20, 30, 40 dan 50 Lux). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa warna lampu LED berpengaruh positif dalam meningkatkan jumlah daun, jumlah cabang, dan tinggi tanaman kacang tanah. Pemberian paparan lampu LED warna merah memiliki pertumbuhan paling cepat dibandingkan dengan pemberian paparan lampu LED warna biru dan kuning. Selain warna, intensitas lampu LED juga berpengaruh positif dalam pertumbuhan tanaman kacang tanah, pemberian intensitas yang terlalu tinggi dan terlalu rendah menyebabkan pertumbuhan tanaman kacang tanah tidak tumbuh dengan maksimal. Oleh karena itu dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa warna lampu LED yang paling efektif dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman kacang tanah adalah warna merah dengan intensitas sebesar 30 Lux.

ENGLISH:

The low production of peanuts in Indonesia is caused by several factors such as reduced agricultural land, farmers' lack of knowledge about cultivation techniques, and various other technical and non-technical issues. Eviction of agricultural land from residences and industrial centers makes agricultural land increasingly reduced. Therefore, a short planting is needed, namely a multilevel planting system. Yet, in this multilevel planting system, the light is not fully acceptable to plants. This will make the plant lack of light and cause symptoms of etiolation. One solution that can carried out to support the growth of peanut plants is by adding LED lighting (Light Emite Diodes). The objectives of this study are: (1) to determine the effect of the color of the LED (Light Emite Diode) on the growth of peanut plants. (2) to determine the effect of the intensity of LED lights (Light Emite Diodes) on the growth of peanut plants. This research uses brul varieties which have been sorted. There are 3 LED lighting exposure colors (red, blue, yellow) and 5 large LED lighting exposure treatments (10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 Lux). The results of this study indicate that the color of LED lights has a positive effect on increasing the number of leaves, number of branches, and height of peanut plants. The exposure of red LED lights has the fastest growth compared to the exposure of blue and yellow LED lights. In addition to color, the intensity of LED lights also has a positive effect on the growth of peanut plants. Then, giving too high and too low intensity causes the growth of peanut plants to not grow to the maximum. Therefore, it can be concluded that the color of the most effective LED lights in increasing the growth of peanut plants is red with an intensity of 30 Lux.
