Abstract
INDONESIA:
Penelitian geofisika dengan metode gravitasi telah dilakukan untuk identifikasi sebaran batubara menggunakan metode gravity di Lapangan “X” menggunakan gravimeter lacoste romberg tipe G-1053. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur geologi bawah permukaan pada area penelitian berdasarkan metode gravitasi. Data yang diperoleh sebanyak 52 titik pada luasan 110 m x 70 m. Pengambilan data diakukan secara loop membentuk grid. Interpretasi kualitatif dilakukan dengan menggunakan Software Surfer dan interpretasi kuantitatif dilakukan dengan menggunakan Software Oasis Montaj. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai anomali lokal pada rentang -2,2 mGal hingga 1,6 mGal. Sruktur bawah permukaan secara umum tersusun oleh breksi tuf,breksi gunungapi, batu pasir, lempung dan batubara. Keberadaaan batubara muda di bawah permukaan ditunjukkan dengan pola kontur sedang. Hasil pemodelan bawah permukaan menunjukkan kerberadaan batubara rata-rata pada kedalaman ±15m dengan densitas 1,2 g/cm3.

Geophysical research by using the gravity method has been carried out to identify the distribution of coal using the gravity method in the Field of "X" and using gravimeter of lacoste romberg of type G-1053. The research aims at determining the subsurface geological structure in the research area based on the gravity method. The data was obtained 52 points on an area of 110m x 70m. Data retrieval was done in a loop forming a grid. Qualitative interpretation was done using Surfer Software and quantitative interpretation was done using Oasis Montaj Software. The research results showed the local anomaly values in the range of -2.2mGal to 1.6 mGal. The structure of the subsurface is generally composed of tuff breccia, volcanic breccia, sandstone, clay and coal. The presence of coal under the surface was indicated by a moderate contour pattern. The subsurface modeling results showed the presence of coal on ± 15m depth average with a density of 1.2 g/cm3.
