Abstract
INDONESIA:
Salah satu faktor Kemenperin (Kementerian Perindustrian) mendorong para pelaku usaha untuk melakukan diversifikasi pada fesyen yang spesifik adalah pertumbuhan dan peningkatan pada Industri Tekstil tidak sebesar peningkatan pada Industri Pakaian Jadi baik skala Manufaktur maupun Industri Mikro dan Kecil. Dalam diversifikasi terdapat faktor-faktor yang mendorong diversifikasi yaitu Hasrat untuk menyesuaikan produk dengan keinginan konsumen secara optimal, Hasrat untuk bertumbuh , Usaha mencapai stabilitas, Usaha mencapai “input” yang optimal daripada sumber dan kapasitas, Hasrat untuk kelanjutan usaha, Motif non ekonomi.
Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis faktor-faktor yang menjadi pendorong pelaku usaha konveksi kota Malang melakukan diversifikasi produk. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada pelaku usaha konveksi kota Malang yang tercatat pada direktori Disperindag.Metode pengumpulan data dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada para pelaku usaha konveksi kota Malang. Teknik analisis data adalah analisis faktor.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari 12 item yang mendorong pelaku usaha konveksi melakukan diversifikasi, diperoleh hasil reduksi menjadi 3 faktor yaitu peningkatan omzet, peningkatan laba, penambahan perantara penjualan, efektivitas jam tenaga kerja, perputaran biaya distributor, perluasan pasar, ketepatan model pakaian, evaluasi kegiatan operasional, perputaran biaya konsumen, penguatan internal, penggunaan mesin, perputaran biaya pabrik.
ENGLISH:
One of Ministry of Industry's factors that encourages businesses to engage diversification on specific fashion is due to the growth and improvement of the textile industry which is not as much as the increase of Garment Industry both in the Manufacturing, Micro and Small Scale industries. There are some factors which encourage diversification including the desire of adapting the product based on customers' willingness optimally, the desire to grow up, the efforts to achieve stability, the efforts to achieve the "input" optimally rather than the source and capacity, desire for business continuity, and also Non-economic motives.
This study aimed to analyze the factors that encourage convection businessman in Malang to engage product diversification. In addition, this study was conducted on the convection business actors in Malang, especially on them who were recorded at Disperindag directory. The process of data collection of this study utilized questionnaires to convection businessman in Malang. After that, the data was analyzed based on factor analysis.
Based on the result of this study from 12 items that encourage convection businessman to do diversification, then according to the result of the reduction, there were 3 factors that can be obtained involving; the increasing of turnover, profits, sales agent addition, the effectiveness of working hours, distributor cost turnover, market expansion, the suitable of clothing models, the evaluation of operational activities, customer cost turnover, internal reinforcing, the use of machine and factory cost turnover.
