Hubungan celebrity worship dengan psychological well being pada remaja penggemar korean pop di All Fandom Kpopers Malang

INDONESIA:

Budaya Korea telah diterima oleh masyarakat Indonesia salah satunya yaitu musik Korean pop. Para remaja menyukai musik dan mengidolakan sosok idola. Kecintaan para remaja kepada idolanya bisa berdampak positif dan negatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : 1) tingkat celebrity worship 2.) tingkat psychological well being 3.) dan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara celebrity worship dan psychological well being pada remaja penggemar Korean pop di all fandom kpopers Malang.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Variabel bebas yaitu celebrity worship dan variabel terikat yaitu psychological well-being. Populasi berjumlah 850 orang yang terdiri dari 11 komunitas fandom kpop di Malang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan tabel morgan yaitu sebanyak 265 orang namun diambil 200 orang yang sesuai dengan kriteria subjek penelitian. Analisis data penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan analisis korelasional.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : 1) tingkat celebrity worship berada pada kategori sedang dengan prosentase 67,5 % sebanyak 135 orang dari 200. 2) tingkat psychological well being berada pada kategori sedang dengan prosentase 63,5 % sebanyak 127 orang dari 200. 4) tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan dengan nilai rsquare - 0,103 antara celebrity worship dan psychological well being pada remaja penggemar Korean pop di all fandom kpopers Malang yang artinya semakin tinggi tingkat celebrity worship pada remaja penggemar Korean pop maka tidak diikuti oleh semakin tingginya psychological well being. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara tingkatan celebrity worship yaitu entertainment social dan intense personal dengan psychological well being, terdapat hubungan antara tingkatan celebrity worship yaitu borderline phatalogical dengan psychological well being.

One of Korean cultures which is applied by Indonesian is Korean Pop music. Usually, musik lovers of Korean pop are female teenager. They do not only like the music, but also the personnel of Korean Pop. Fans’ love to their idol brings positive and negative effect.This research aims to now: 1) The level of celebrity worship 2.) The level of psychological well-being 3.) And to know whether there is relation between celebrity worship and psychological well being on Korean pop fans teenager or not,in all fandom Kpopers Malang.

This research uses quantitative methodology. However, the independent variable is celebrity worship and dependent variable is psychological well-being.The number of population is 850 people. They are from fandom Kpop community in Malang. Then, the sample determination formula is purposive sampling.The research sampling uses Morgan table. It means the researcher only chooses 200 people (who fit the research criteria) from 265 people. Data anaysis technique that is used is korelasional analysis.

The result of research show that: 1) the level of celebrity worship is on medium level, 67,5 %. 135 from 200 people belong to celebrity worship. 2) The level of psychological well being is on medium level, 63,5 %. 127 from 200 people are psychological well being. 3) There is no significant relation on square value - 0, 103 between celebrity worship and psychological well-being on Korean pop lover teenagers in all Fandom Kpopers Malang. It means as high as the level of teenager celebrity worship, Korean pop lovers, psychological well being of the teenagers can be on high, medium, and low level. There is no relationship between levels of celebrity worship, namely social and intense personal entertainment with psychological well being, there is a relationship between the level of celebrity worship, namely borderline phatalogical with psychological well being .
