Abstract

INDONESIA:

Buku penghubung merupakan salah satu alat komunikasi antara guru dan orangtua yang sudah diterapkan di SDIT Harapan Umat Jember. Buku penghubung dapat digunakan untuk melaporkan perkembangan anak setiap minggunya secara manual. Ketidaksempatan menulis dan membaca menyebabkan permasalahan seperti informasi yang disampaikan kurang up to date, tidak adanya sistem rekap setiap bulan, kurang efektif guru dan orangtua memonitoring siswa. Kendala tersebut membuat interaksi dan komunikasi kurang berjalan dengan baik sehingga pelayanan yang diberikan kurang maksimal. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan suatu sistem informasi manajemen yang mengatur hubungan antara guru dan orangtua di sekolah. Salah satu penerapan konsep yang dapat digunakan yaitu Customer Relationship Management (CRM). CRM merupakan suatu strategi bisnis yang bertujuan untuk membangun kepercayaan dan memaksimalkan kepuasan orangtua dari hubungan yang sudah terjalin. Sistem yang dibangun berupa aplikasi buku penghubung yang dibuat berdasarkan kerangka CRM. Dengan adanya aplikasi tersebut diharapkan dapat membangun komunikasi yang lebih interaktif antara guru dan orangtua dalam membahas perkembangan anak di sekolah. Setelah melakukan serangkaian penelitan dimulai dari analisis, perancangan dan pengujian sistem, aplikasi buku penghubung ini sudah berjalan sesuai dengan menggunakan uji black box baik dari sisi administrator, guru dan orangtua. Sedangkan uji usability menunjukkan nilai 85 dan 83,5 artinya aplikasi buku penghubung masuk dalam kategori acceptable dan mudah digunakan.

ENGLISH:

A connection book is one of communication tool between teacher and parents that already applied at SDIT Harapan Umat Jember. A connecting book can be used to manually report students development every week. There is no time to write and read cause problems such as the information delivered is not up to date, there is no recap system every month, it is less effective for teachers and parents to monitor students. These obstacles make interaction and communication less effective so the services provided are less than optimal. Therefore, we need a management system that regulates the relationship between teachers and parents at school. One application of the concepts that can be used is Customer Relationship Management (CRM). CRM is a bussines strategy that aims to be able to build trust and maximize parental satisfaction from established relationship. System build in the form of a connecting book application based on CRM framework. We hope with this application, its expected to be able to build more interactive communication between teachers and parents in discussing their children development at school. After did a series of research starting from the analysys, design and testing of the system, this connecting book application is running accord to the black box test both from the administrator, teacher, and parents side. While usability testing shows that the value is 85 and 83.5 means that this application is in the acceptable category and easy to use.
