Abstract
INDONESIA:
Jujur merupakan karakter yang sangat vital bagi kehidupan terutama dalam pembentukan suatu kepribadian bangsa. Adanya beberapa kasus perilaku tidak jujur seperti korupsi dan plagiarisme membuktikan bahwa penerapan pendidikan karakter jujur kurang optimal dilakukan. Untuk mencapai tujuan agar karakter jujur dapat diterapkan oleh peserta didik, maka diperlukan upaya yang lebih baik guru dan sekolah untuk menerapkan karakter jujur melalui strategi dan program yang ada di sekolah.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan bentuk implementasi karakter jujur di MA Al-Hidayah Wajak Malang, (2) mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat implementasi karakter jujur di MA Al-Hidayah Wajak Malang.
Untuk mencapai tujuan di atas, digunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan cara mereduksi data, menyajikan data dan menarik kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) bentuk implementasi karakter jujur adalah dengan adanya pengintegrasian dalam program pengembangan diri, mata pelajaran dan budaya sekolah yang berupa kegiatan pagi dan siang (shalat dhuha dan shalat dzuhur), koperasi kejujuran (KOPMA), pendekatan humanis dan integrasi materi atau motivasi tentang tema jujur. (2) faktor pendukung adalah kerja sama semua komponen sekolah, guru bekerja sama dengan semua anggota sekolah, dan peran guru BK (Bimbingan Konseling). Sedangkan, faktor penghambat adalah perbedaan pendapat sekolah dengan orang tua, siswa kurang peka dengan karakter jujur, guru tidak selalu mengontrol, guru belum rutin menerapkan karakter jujur, belum adanya pengintegrasian dalam RPP, siswa tidak peka terhadap contoh yang diberikan guru, karakter perlu pembiasaan dalam menerapkannya.
ENGLISH:
Honest is a character that is vital for life, especially in the formation of a national personality. The existence of several cases of dishonest behavior such as corruption and plagiarism proved that the application of honest character education is not optimal. To achieve the goal so that honest character can be applied by students, it required a better effort by teachers and schools to apply honest character through the strategies and programs in the school.
The purpose of this research is to: (1) describe the form of honest character implementation in Senior High School Al Hidayah Wajak Malang, (2) describe the supporting factors and inhibiting factors for honest character implementation in Senior High School Al Hidayah Wajak Malang.
To achieve the above objectives, a qualitative research approach is used with the type of case study. The research subjects were teachers and students as well. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data is analyzed by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions.
The results showed that, (1) the form of honest character implementation was with the integration in the self-development program, school subjects and culture in the form of morning and afternoon activities (dhuha and dzuhur), honesty cooperatives (KOPMA), humanist approaches and integration material or motivation about honest lessons. (2) supporting factors are the cooperation of all school components, the teacher cooperates with all school members, and the role of the Counseling teacher (Counseling Guidance). Whereas, the inhibiting factor is differences of opinion between schools and parents, students who are less sensitive to honest character, teachers do not always control, teachers do not routinely apply honest character, there is no integration in Planning of Education, students are not sensitive to examples given by teachers, characters need to be familiar with apply it.
