Abstract
ABSTRAK
Berhasil atau gagalnya pencapaian tujuan pendidikan itu amat bergantung pada proses belajar yang dialami siswa, ketika siswa berada di sekolah tentunya dalam proses pembelajaran terdapat kesulitan tersendiri yang dialami oleh para siswa. Seperti kesulitan menerima materi yg telah di sampaikan oleh Guru atau karena teman di sekelilingnya rame tidak memperhatikan gurunya ketika menerangkan. Kesulitan belajar merupakan suatu keadaan dimana peserta didik tidak dapat belajar sebagaimana mestinya, kesulitan belajar pada dasarnya adalah suatu gejala yang Nampak dalam berbagai tingkah laku, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Kesulitan belajar terjadi pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, oleh karena itu maka memunculkan beberapa rumusan masalah: 1 kesulitan apa yang dialami siswa kelas VII di SMP Islam Tikung Lamongan, 2 Apakah faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar siswa kelas VII di SMP Islam Tikung Lamongan, 3 bagaimana strategi guru IPS dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa kelas VII di SMP Islam Tikung Lamongan.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1 mendeskripsikan kesulitan belajar, 2 mendeskripsikan faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar siswa, 3 mendeskripsikan strategi guru IPS dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa di SMP Islam Tikung Lamongan.
Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penulis mengelompokkan dan menganalisa guna untuk menjawab rumusan masalah yang dirumuskan oleh peneliti. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti melakukan analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : 1. Kesulitan belajar yang dialami siswa adalah kesulitan memahami materi, 2. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kesulitan belajar siswa adalah minat belajar siswa yang rendah karena sering bergurau ketika ada Guru menyampaikan materi di depan, siswa malas dalam mengikuti pelajaran IPS, faktor orang tua atau keluarga yang kurang memperhatikan anak-anaknya, kreatifitas guru dalam mengajar dan mengolah media yg ada tersedia guna untuk memacu semangat belajar siswa kurang di perhatikan, strategi guru yang di gunakan untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar yaitu strategi inquiry, ekspositori dan koperatif.
ABSTRACT
Success or failure in achieving educational goals is very dependent on the learning process experienced by students, when students are in school of course in the learning process there are distinct difficulties experienced by students. Such as the difficulty of receiving material that has been conveyed by the Teacher or because friends around him are not paying attention to the teacher when explaining. Learning difficulties are a condition where students cannot learn as they should, learning difficulties are basically a symptom that appears in various behaviors, both directly and indirectly Learning difficulties occur in Social Sciences subjects, therefore it raises some formulation of the problem: 1 what difficulties experienced by class VII students at Tikung Lamongan Islamic Middle School, 2 What are the factors that influence the learning difficulties of class VII students in Tikung Lamongan Islamic Middle School , 3 how the IPS teacher's strategy in overcoming the learning difficulties of seventh grade students at Tikung Lamongan Islamic Middle School.
The purpose of this study is to: 1 describe the difficulties of learning, 2 describe the factors that influence student learning difficulties, 3 describe the strategy of social studies teachers in overcoming student learning difficulties in Tikung Lamongan Islamic Middle School.
The approach taken in this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection uses the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The author classifies and analyzes in order to answer the formulation of the problem formulated by the researcher. In this study, researchers conducted data analysis through data reduction, data presentation and data verification.
The results of this study indicate that: 1. Learning difficulties experienced by students are difficulties understanding the material, 2. Factors that affect student learning difficulties are low student interest in learning because they often joke when there is a teacher delivering the material in front, students are lazy in taking social studies, factors of parents or families who pay less attention to their children, the creativity of teachers in teaching and processing existing media are available in order to spur students' enthusiasm to learn less, teacher strategies are used to overcome learning difficulties, namely inquiry strategies and expository strategies.
