Abstract
INDONESIA:
ENGLISH:
Star Apple (Chrysophyllum cainito L.) is a plant which empirically used as traditional medicine. The pharmacological effect is caused by secondary metabolite activity inside Chrysophyllum cainito. The aim of this research is to know the metabolites profile differences between 96% ethanol extract, n-hexane extract, ethyl acetate extract, and methanol extract of Chrysophyllum cainito leaves using UPLC-QToF-MS/MS.
Dried powder of Chrysophyllum cainito leaves was extracted using 96% ethanol, then gradual extraction has done with n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and methanol using UAE. Each extract prepared with methanol and DCM then injected as many as 5 µl into UPLC-QToF-MS/MS then analyzed by softwares, Masslynx 4.1 and Chemspider.
The result showed that there were 41 compounds from 96% ethanol extract with 2-Methyl-1-[(2-methyl-5-nitrophenyl)sulfonyl]-1H-benzimidazole as major compound, 28 compounds from n-hexane extract with Diethyltoluamide as major compound, 47 compounds from ethyl acetate extract with Loliolide as major compound, and 34 compounds from methanol extract with Eplerenone as major compound.
