Abstract
INDONESIA:
ENGLISH:
The testing of Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM) membrane based on lipid membrane is used to distinguish two sensor variations to the NaCl (salty taste) response. The used sensor variations are pure silver electrode QCM sensor and QCM sensor is coated with Methyltrioctyl Ammonium Chloride lipid membrane. These characterization factors include response time, limit detection, and sensitivity. The method of this study uses linear regression analysis. The analyzed data from output of QCM sensor is the oscillation frequency. The samples testing is 20 concentrations, that is 0,1 M - 2 M with 0,1 M intervals. The result response time, QCM sensor with membrane responds more quickly with a value of 12 s. Detection limit of QCM sensor without membrane can work at a smaller sample concentration than the QCM sensor with membrane, that is 0,8 M. The sensitivity of QCM sensor with membrane is more sensitive to sample with a sensitivity value of 1,78423502 MHz/M. Based on the data obtained, the QCM sensor with Methyltrioctyl Ammonium Chloride lipid coated membrane is more selective than the QCM sensor without lipid membrane.
