Abstract
INDONESIA:
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh cekaman kekeringan, pengaruh ASA, dan interaksi cekaman kekeringan dan ASA pada pertumbuhan dan kandungan prolin tanaman selada merah. Rancangan penelitian eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dua faktor. Faktor pertama kapasitas lapang (100% KL, 70% KL, 50% KL, dan 25% KL) dan kedua ASA (0 mM, 1 mM, 1,5 mM, dan 2 mM) yang dikombinasikan sebanyak 3 kali ulangan. Bahan yang digunakan yaitu biji selada merah (Lactuca sativa L. var Crispa), media tanam pasir, tanah, dan kompos (1:1:1) perpolybag, air, dan ASA. Biji selada merah ditanam di dalam polybag dengan pemberian ASA pada 14 dan 21 HST dan cekaman kekeringan dari 17-42 HST. Analisis data dengan analisis varian (ANAVA) menggunakan SPSS 23. Hasil analisis varian yang berbeda nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji DMRT taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian dengan pemberian 100% KL-25% KL menurunkan seluruh parameter pertumbuhan dan meningkatkan kandungan prolin. Konsentrasi 1,5 mM ASA meningkatkan jumlah daun, tinggi tanaman 1,16 cm, luas daun 1,30 cm2, panjang akar 1,16 cm, berat basah 5,84 g, dan kandungan prolin 6,693 µM/g. Interaksi 1,5 mM ASA pada 70 % KL dan 50 % KL memiliki berat basah 33,17 g dan 31,60 g, luas daun 103,33 cm2 dan 105 cm2, dan tinggi tanaman 16,67 cm dan 14,17 cm yang tidak berbeda nyata dengan kontrol.
ENGLISH:
This study aims to determine the effect of drought stress, the effect of ASA, and the interaction of drought stress and ASA on the growth and proline content of red lettuce plants. The design of the experimental study used a completely randomized design (CRD) of two factors. The first factor was field capacity (100% FC, 70% FC, 50% FC, and 25% FC) and both ASA (0 mM, 1 mM, 1.5 mM, and 2 mM) combined with 3 replications. The ingredients used were red lettuce seeds (Lactuca sativa L. var Crispa), sand, soil, and compost growing media (1: 1: 1) polybags, water, and ASA. Red lettuce seeds are planted in polybags with ASA at 14 and 21 DAS and drought stress from 17-42 DAS. Data analysis with variance analysis (ANAVA) using SPSS 23. The results of the analysis of variance were significantly different followed by the DMRT test at 5%. The results of the study by giving 100% FC-25% FC decreased all growth parameters and increased proline content. The concentration of 1.5 mM ASA increased the number of leaves, plant height 1.16 cm, leaf area 1.30 cm2, root length 1.16 cm, wet weight 5.84 g, and proline content 6.693 µM/g. Interaction of 1.5 mM ASA at 70% FC and 50% FC has a wet weight of 33.17 g and 31.60 g, leaf area of 103.33 cm2 and 105 cm2, and plant height of 16.67 cm and 14.17 cm which not significantly different from controls.
