Abstract
INDONESIA:
Disiplidemia merupakan salah satu penyebab penyakit kardiovaskuler dimana terjadi peningkatan low-density lipoprotein (LDL) >100 mg/dL dan penurunan high-density lipoprotein (HDL) ≤60 mg/dL. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kombinasi ekstrak Kulit batang kayu manis (Cinnamomum burmanii) dan bawang dayak (Eleutherine palmifolia l. merr) terhadap kadar LDL-C dan HDL-C serum darah mecit (Mus musculus) yang diberi perlakuan HFD (hight-fat diet) secara in vivo. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Dengan kelompok perlakuan sebagai berikut; K- (HFD tanpa pengobatan), K+ (HFD dan obat atorvastatin), P1 (HFD dan perlakuan kombinasi kayu manis dan bawang dayak dosis 50+50 mg/kgBB), P2 (HFD dan perlakuan kombinasi kayu manis dan bawang dayak dosis 100+100 mg/kgBB), P3 (HFD dan perlakuan kombinasi kayu manis dan bawang dayak dosis 150+150 mg/kgBB). Pengukuran kadar kolesterol-LDL pada penelitian menggunakan metode Colomometric Enzimatic test (CHOD-PAP) dan pengukuran kadar kolesterol-HDL menggunakan metode Differential Precipitation Enzymatic Colorimetic Test. Data dianalisis dengan One Way Anova, dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Hasil analisis One Way Anova menunjukan bahwa kombinasi ekstrak C. burmanii dan E. palmifolia L. Merr dosis 100+100 mg/kgBB dan 150+150 mg/kgBB dapat menurunkan kadar LDL-C dan pemberian kombinasi ekstrak C. burmanii dan (E. palmifolia L. Merr dosis 150+150 mg/kgBB merupakan dosis yang paling optimal dalam menaikan kadar HDL-C serum darah mecit (Mus musculus) yang diinduksi HFD (Hight-fat diet).

Dyslipidemia is one of the causes of cardiovascular disease where there is an increase of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) >100 mg/dL which also following by the decrease of the high-density lipoprotein (HDL) ≤60 mg/dL. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of giving a combination of the cinnamon bark extract (Cinnamomum burmanii) and Dayak onion against LDL-C and HDL-C level on blood serum of mice (Mus musculus) that received preferential treatment by HFD (high-fat diet) in a manner of in vivo. This research was experimental that apply a completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments and five replications. With a treatment group as follows; K- (HFD without medication), K+ (HFD and atorvastatin medicament), P1 (HFD with the treatment of the combination of cinnamon and Dayak onion with a dosage provision 50+50 mg/kgBB), P2 (HFD with the treatment of the combination of cinnamon and Dayak onion with a dosage provision 100+100 mg/kgBB), P3 (HFD with the treatment of the combination of cinnamon and Dayak onion with a dosage provision 150+150 mg/kgBB). The methods which used to measure the levels of LDL-cholesterol in this research is Colomometric Enzymatic test (CHOD-PAP) and the methods which used to measure the level of HDL-cholesterol in this research are Differential Precipitation Enzymatic Colorimetric Test. The data were analyzed by One Way Anova method and also proceed with the Duncan test. The results of One Way Anova analysis indicate that the combination of extracts of C. Burmanii and E. Palmifiolia L. Merr doses of 100+100 mg/kgBB and 150+150 mg/kgBBB may reduce LDL-C level and the adducition of the combination of C. Burmanii extracts and E. Palmifolia L. Merr dose of 150+150 mg/kgBB is the most optional dose to increase the blood level of HDL-C serum on mice (Mus musculus) that inducted by HFD (High-fat diet).
