Abstract
INDONESIA:
SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang salah satu sekolah yang telah menerapkan pendidikan karakter sejak lama akan tetapi sejak di revisi menggunakan kurikulum 2013 pada tahun 2017 menjadi penguatan pendidikan. Khususnya melalui budaya sekolah. Sehingga peneliti bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) penerapan penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah di SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang (2) dampak penerapan penguatan pendidikan karakter pada siswa di SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Mendeskripsikan penerapan penguatan pendidikan karakter di SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang. (2) Mendeskripsikan dampak penerapan penguatan pendidikan karakter pada siswa di SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang.
Bentuk Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dan desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian studi kasus (case study). Penelitian dilakukan di SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang, dengan subyek penelitian adalah warga sekolah yang terdiri guru, siswa dan staf sekolah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengadakan observasi atau pengamatan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan memberikan penjelasan pada data yang telah dikumpulkan. Pemeriksaan data dilakukan dengan melakukan triangulasi atau membandingkan data dari berbagai sumber dan di tarik kesimpulan.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah di SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang adalah adanya (a) perencanaan sebelum penerapan penguatan pendidikan karakter (b) menyusun jadwal harian/mingguan (c) mendesain kurikulum 2013 (d) Evaluasi peraturan sekolah (e) pengembangan budaya/tradisi sekolah (f) pengembangan kegiatan ko-kurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler. Dampak dari penguatan pendidikan karakter pada siswa ada dua hal yaitu (1) berdampak pada pembelajaran siswa (a) siswa lebih aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, (b) siswa berani maju di depan kelas untuk presentasi, (c) siswa lebih mandiri bisa mengerjakan tugas sendiri. Dan (2) Dampak pada moral/perilaku yaitu: (a) siswa lebih sopan dengan orang yang lebih tua, (b) siswa sopan serta senyum sapa dengan guru dan tamu sekolah, (c) siswa berperilaku kedalam hal yang positif.

SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang is one of the schools that has been implementing character education for a long time. Since character education was revised using the 2013 Curriculum (K-13) in 2017, it became education strengthening especially through school culture. In addition, the researcher aims to find out: (1) the application of strengthening character education through school culture in SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang; and (2) the impact of the application of strengthening character education on students in SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang.
This study aims to: (1) describe the application of strengthening character education in SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang; and (2) describe the impact of the implementation of strengthening character education on students at SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang.
The form of this study used qualitative descriptive research and the design used in this study is a case study. The study was conducted at SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang with whole school members consisting of teachers, students and school staff are research subjects. Data collection was done by making observations or observations, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, data analysis was done by giving an explanation of the data that has been collected. Then, the data checking was done by triangulating or comparing data from various sources and composing conclusions.
Based on the results of the study show that the application of strengthening character education through school culture in SDN Sumbersari 2 Malang are the existence of (a) planning before the implementation of strengthening character education (b) preparing a daily / weekly schedule (c) designing the 2013 Curriculum (K-13) (d) evaluating school regulations (e ) development of school culture / tradition (f) development of co-curricular and extracurricular activities. There are two impacts of strengthening character education on students are namely, (1) the impact on student learning (a) students are more active in the learning process, (b) students dare to advance in front of the class for presentations, (c) more independent students can do their own tasks; and, (2) The impact on moral / behavior are: (a) students are more polite with older people, (b) polite students and greetings with teachers and school guests, (c) students behave in positive terms. (a) students are more polite with older people, (b) students are always be polite, smile and greetings with teachers and school guests, (c) students are always in positive behavior.
