Abstract
INDONESIA:
Materi struktur dan fungsi bagian tumbuhan adalah salah satu materi pada mata pelajaran IPA yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa kelas IV SD/MI. Pada materi ini siswa dituntut untuk mengetahui struktur dan bagian-bagian tumbuhan serta fungsinya, dan mengamati bagian-bagian tumbuhan secara riil. Selain itu tumbuhan adalah salah satu mahkluk hidup yang berguna bagi kehidupan manusia. Untuk mengetahui tentang bagian-bagian tumbuhan perlu melakukan pengamatan sederhana di luar kelas, maka dibuat bahan ajar berbasis outdoor learning.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; 1) menjelaskan bentuk fisik produk berupa bahan ajar berbasis outdoor learning, 2) menjelaskan kemenarikan produk yang dikembangkan yaitu bahan ajar berbasis outdoor learning, 3) menjelaskan keefektifitasan produk yang dikembangkan yaitu berupa bahan ajar berbasis outdoor learning.
Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan peneliti metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development), di mana metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu dan menguji kefektifan produk tersebut. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan ini mengacu pada model Borg and Gall.
Pengembangan produk ini telah menghasilkan buku berupa bahan ajar berbasis outdoor learning materi struktur dan fungsi bagian tumbuhan. Bahan ajar berbasis outdoor learning yang telah dikembangkan memiliki tingkat relevansi dengan kurikulum yang ada, materi bahan ajar mudah dipahami, bahasa yang digunakan sesuai dengan siswa sekolah dasar, serta langkah-langkah sederhana yang mudah dipahami oleh siswa dalam melaksanakan pengamatan di luar kelas. Hasil pengembangan bahan ajar sangat efektif dan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, karena bahan ajar yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti memberikan pengalaman yang bermakna, sehingga materi akan tersimpan di memori siswa dalam jangka yang waktu cukup lama.
ENGLISH:
The material structure and function of the plant part is one of the materials on the subject of Natural Sciences that must be mastered by 4th graders in elementary school. In this material students are required to know the structure and parts of plants and their functions, and observe the parts of plants in real terms. In addition, plants are one of the living things that are useful for human life. To know about the parts of plants need to make simple observations outside the classroom, then made learning materials based on outdoor learning.
This research aims to; 1) explaining the physical form of products in the form of learning materials based on outdoor learning, 2) explaining the attractiveness of developed products that are learning materials based on outdoor learning, 3) explaining the effectiveness of products developed in the form of learning materials based on outdoor learning.
The research method is research and evelopment which used to produce a particular product and test the effectiveness of the product. This research and development method refers to Borg and Gall model.
The development of this product has resulted in the book of learning materials based on outdoor learning material structure and function of plant parts. Outdoor learning-based teaching materials that have been developed have relevance to the existing curriculum, easy-to-understand teaching material, the language used in accordance with elementary school students, as well as simple steps that are easily understood by students in carrying out outside observations class. The result of teaching material development is very effective and able to improve student learning result because the teaching material developed by the researcher gives a meaningful experience, so that the material will be stored in the students memory in the long term.
