Abstract
ABSTRAK
Manajemen kelas merupakan kegiatan guru dalam menciptakan dan memelihara kondisi kelas yang kondusif serta mengembalikannya bila terjadi gangguan agar kegiatan belajar mengajar dapat berlangsung secara efektif dan efisien. Dalam upaya menciptakan kondisi kelas yang kondusif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran seorang guru harus memperhatikan fasilitas dalam kelas yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik, selain itu guru harus menciptakan interaksi positif terhadap peserta didik dengan prosedur manajemen kelas dari berbagai sudut dimensi pencegahan (Preventif) dan penyembuhan (Kuratif) agar dapat mencegah dan mengantisipasi gangguan- gangguan perilaku peserta didik yang tidak diinginkan Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Mendeskripsikan kondisi fisik manajemen kelas di SD My Little Island Kota Malang, (2) Mendeskripsikan dimensi preventif manajemen kelas sekolah berbasis internasional di SD My Little Island Kota Malang, (3) Mendeskripsikan dimensi kuratif manajemen kelas sekolah berbasis internasional di SD My Little Island Kota Malang.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian study kasus. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan cara reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, (1) kondisi fisik manajemen kelas di SD My Little Island Kota Malang meliputi, penataan tempat duduk yang bervariasi, terdapat perpustakaan kelas tiap kelas, terdapat media pembelajaran, fasilitas pengajaran lengkap, sarana dan prasarana, Ada nama-nama jadwal petugas menjadi seorang leader hari senin sampai jum’at, setiap kegiatan belajar mengajar (KBM) melaksanakan pembelajaran kelompok. (2) dimensi preventif manajemen kelas di SD My Little Island Kota Malang meliputi, guru akrab dengan para peserta didik, guru memberikan tugas-tugas peserta didik, guru memberikan penjelasan dengan jelas, guru membuat peraturan untuk peserta didik, guru memberikan teguran kepada peserta didik, guru memberikan pujian peserta didik, guru melibatkan peserta didik pada saat pembelajaran dan pengaturan dan pengaturan ruang kelas. (3) dimensi kuratif manajemen kelas di SD My Little Island Kota Malang meliputi, guru hafal karakteristik peserta didik, guru membuat catatan perilaku peserta didik, guru mengajak peserta didik untuk sharing kesulitan-kesulitan, guru bersikap tegas pada peserta didik, guru membuat peraturan untuk peserta didik pada saat melaksanakan pembelajaran, guru memberikan motivasi-motivasi kepada peserta didik pada saat pembelajaran
ABSTRACT
Classroom management is the activity of teacher in creating and maintaining conducive class conditions and returning them in case of disruption so that teaching and learning activities can take place effectively and efficiently. In an effort to create a conducive of a teacher should pay attention to the facilities in the classroom that match with the learner’s needs, in addition teacher should create positive interaction with learners using classroom management procedures of variousprevention angle (preventive) and healing (curative) in order to prevent and anticipate undesirable behavioral disturbance of learners. The purpose of this research are (1) Describe the physical condition of classroom management at My Little Island Elementary School Malang City, (2) Describe the preventive dimension of international school-class management at My Little Island Elementary School Malang City, (3) describe the curative dimension of school classroom management based on My Little Island Elementary School in Malang.
This research using qualitative approach with research type case study. Data were collected by using observation method, interview, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed by means of reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.
The results of this study show that, (1) the physical condition of the classroom management in My Little Island Elementary School at Malang City are includes, the arrangement of the seat vary, there is a library class in every class, there is learning media, teaching facilities are complete, facility and infrastructure, there are names of the officer schedules that become a leader from Monday to Friday, each teaching and learning activities (KBM) carry out the learning of the group. (2) the dimensions of preventive classroom management in My Little Island Elementary School at Malang City includes, teacher familiar with the students, teacher give tasks to the learners, the teacher gives clearly explanation, teacher make the rules to the learners, teacher gives a reprimand to the learners, teacher give praise to the learners, the teacher involves the learners at the of learning and classroom settings. (3) the dimensions of the curative classroom management in My Little Island Elementary School at Malang City includes, teacher memorized the characteristics of the learners, teacher make a note of the behavior of the learners, the teacher invites the learners to share their difficulties, the teacher being firmly on the learners, the teachers make the rules for leaners when carrying out the lesson, the teacher give motivation to the learners during the learning.
