Abstract
INDONESIA:
Bidara laut (Ziziphus mauritiana L.) merupakan salah satu tanaman yang berpotensi sebagai antikanker. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui aktivitas antikanker ekstrak daun bidara laut. Ekstraksi yang digunakan adalah maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol 80% dan dipartisi dengan kloroform dan n-heksana. Ekstrak yang didapat diuji fitokimia dan uji aktivitas antikanker terhadap sel kanker payudara T47D secara in vitro dengan metode MTT ((3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5 Diphenyltetrazolium Bromida),. Hasil uji aktivitas antikanker terbaik dianalisis menggunakan KLTA (kromatografi lapis tipis analitik). Berdasarkan hasil uji fitokimia, ekstrak daun bidara mengandung golongan senyawa alkaloid, saponin, tanin, dan steroid. Hasil uji aktivitas antikanker menunjukkan nilai IC50 ekstrak etanol, fraksi kloroform, dan fraksi n-heksana berturut-turut sebesar 581,39, 507, dan 384 µg/mL. Fraksi n-heksana dilakukan pemisahan senyawa menggunakan KLTA. Eluen terbaik untuk memisahkan senyawa alkaloid, saponin, dan steroid masing-masing adalah sikloheksana : toluene : dietilamin (75:15:10), kloroform : aseton (4:1), dan n-heksana : etil asetat (7:3).

Bidara leaf (Ziziphus mauritiana) is one of plant that potentially as anticancer. The aim of the research was to know the anticancer activity of bidara leaves extract. Extraction of bidara leaves used ethanol solvent 80% and partitioned with chloroform and n-hexane. The extract was analized with phytochemical screening and anticancer activity on breast cancer cells T47D by MTT method ((3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5 Diphenyltetrazolium Bromide). The highest of anticancer activity was identified by thin layer chromatography (TLC). Based on the phytochemical test, the extrak of bidara leaves contained alkaloid, saponins, tannins, and steroids. The result of anticancer activity showed IC50 values of ethanol extract, chloroform fraction, and n-hexane fraction was 581.39, 507, and 384 µg/mL, respectively. N-hexane fraction as the best ekstrak was separate by TLC. Eluen of alkaloid, saponins, and steroids compounds were cyclohexene: toluene: dietilamin (75:15:10), chloroform: acetone (4:1), n-hexane: ethyl acetate (7:3).
