Abstract

INDONESIA:

Air laut merupakan salah satu Sumber Daya Alam yang keberadaannya melimpah dan memiliki manfaat yang beragam bagi kehidupan. Garam merupakan salah satu manfaat dari air laut yang dihasilkan dengan melalui proses produksi terlebih dahulu. Dalam bidang produksi garam, Indonesia saat ini termasuk dalam negara penghasil garam terbesar dunia selain China, Amerika Serikat, Jerman, dan India. Namun demikian, Indonesia masih melakukan kegiatan ekspor untuk memenuhi kebutuhan garam Nasional. Indonesia memiliki beberapa daerah penghasil garam untuk memenuhi suplai kebutuhan garam, dan Madura merupakan salah satu daerah penghasil garam terbesar di Indonesia. Salah satu faktor kendala industri pengembangan produksi garam di Indonesia adalah stagnansi penerapan teknologi dalam proses produksi terutama di produksi garam daerah Madura. Selain itu juga teknik produksi garam Madura yang masih menggunakan metode produksi tradisional, sehingga seiring perkembangan jaman dan teknologi, produksi garam rakyat Madura melamban. Dari permasalahan ini diusulkan peracangan pusat industri pengembangan produksi garam Madura di Kabupaten Pamekasan dengan pendekatan Eco-Tech Architecture. Perancangan ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan produktivitas dan mutu garam, serta penguatan kapasitas usaha petambak garam di Madura ,sehingga nantinya juga bisa menjawab permasalahan penggaraman Nasional.

ENGLISH:

Sea water is one of the natural resources that its existence is abundant and has diverse benefits for life. Salt is one of the benefits of sea water that is generated through the production process in advance. In the field of salt production, Indonesia is currently included in the world's largest salt producing countries in addition to China, the United States, Germany, and India. However, Indonesia still do export activities in order to fullfil the needs of national salt. Indonesia has some of the salt-producing areas to meet the supply needs of the salt, and Madura region is one of the largest salt producer in Indonesia. One of the constraint factors of industrial development of salt production in Indonesia is stagnation technology implementation in the production process, mainly in the salt production of Madura. In addition, salt-production techniques of Madura that still use traditional production methods, so along with the changing times and technologies, the production of salt of the Madura people was getting slow. From this issues, designing industrial development center of salt production of madura in Pamekasan regency with Eco-Tech Architecture Approach is proposed. The design is expected to increase the productivity and quality of salt, as well as strengthening the capacity of effort of Madura salt farmers, so that later can also answer the problems of National salt need.
