Abstract
INDONESIA:
Tanaman Krisan putih (Chrysanthemum cinerariifolium (Trev.)) merupakan salah satu tanaman obat yang secara empiris telah digunakan oleh masyarakat sebagai obat berbagai macam jenis penyakit salah satunya sebagai antikanker. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan aktivitas antikanker dan toksisitas dari bunga, daun, batang, dan akar krisan putih (C. cinerariifolium (Trev.)) terhadap sel kanker payudara (T47D cell line) dan sel normal (Vero cell line). Metode ekstraksi yang digunakan adalah UAE. Masing-masing ekstrak diuji aktivitas antikanker terhadap sel T47D dan uji toksisitas terhadap sel Vero menggunakan metode MTT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak bunga, daun, batang, dan akar C. cinerariifolium memiliki perbedaan aktivitas antikanker dan toksisitas dengan taraf kepercayaan 95%. Aktivitas antikanker terhadap sel T47D berdasarkan nilai IC50 berturut-turut yaitu 728,33; 362,58; 168,46; dan 293,81 µg/mL. Selain itu, C. cinerariifolium memilki perbedaan toksisitas terhadap sel Vero dengan nilai CC50 berturut-turut yaitu 701,46; 676,18; 569,18; dan 728,19 µg/mL, serta memiliki nilai SI berturut-turut yaitu 0,89; 1,86; 3,38; dan 2,47. Ekstrak yang dinyatakan selektif dalam membunuh sel kanker payudara (T47D) dan aman terhadap sel normal adalah ekstrak batang dengan nilai SI > 3 dan IC50 sebesar 168,46 µg/mL.

White chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum cinerariifolium (Trev.)) is one of the medicinal plants that has empirically been used by the community as a cure to various types of diseases, one of them as anticancer. The aim of this study was to investigate the differences in anticancer activity and toxicity of flowers, leaves, stems and roots of chrysanthemum (C. cinerariifolium (Trev.)) against breast cancer cells (T47D cell line) and normal cells (Vero cell line). The extraction method used is UAE. Each extract was tested for anticancer activity against T47D cells and toxicity test against Vero cells using MTT method. The results showed that the extract of flowers, leaves, stems, and roots of C. cinerariifolium had different anticancer activity and toxicity with 95% confidence level. Anticancer activity against T47D cells based on IC50 values was 728,33; 362,58; 168,46; and 293,81 µg/mL. In addition, C. cinerariifolium has different toxicity to Vero cell with the value of CC50 701,46; 676,18; 569,18; and 728,19 μg/mL, and has SI value of 0,89; 1,86; 3,38; and 2,47. The extract that was declared and known to be selective in killing breast cancer cells (T47D) and safe against normal cells were stem extracts with SI > 3 and IC50 values of 168.46 μg / mL.
