Pengaruh pengungkapan sustainability report terhadap kinerja keuangan dan kinerja saham: Studi pada perusahaan yang terdaftar di indeks LQ45 tahun 2013 – 2016

Sustainability report merupakan suatu konsep pelaporan oleh perusahaan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai dampak ekonomi, lingkungan dan sosial kepada stakeholders dalam mewujudkan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Sustainability report dapat dijadikan sebagai bentuk transparansi yang akan berdampak pada keberlanjutan perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh masing-masing dimensi dalam pengungkapan sustaianbaility report terhadap kinerja keuangan dan kinerja saham.

Populasi data yang digunakan adalah perusahaan yang terdaftar di indeks LQ45 dan menerbitkan sustainability report periode 2013 - 2016. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis untuk menguji hipotesis adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan dua model pengujian. Model I untuk menguji pengaruh pengungkapan sustainability report terhadap kinerja keuangan yang diproksikan dengan Return On Equity (ROE). Model II untuk menguji pengaruh pengaruh pengungkapan sustainability report terhadap kinerja saham yang diproksikan dengan return saham.

Hasil penelitian model I menujukkan bahwa pengungkapan sustainability report (dimensi ekonomi, lingkungan, sosial) secara parsial dan simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ROE. Hal ini berarti perusahaan yang menerbitkan sustainability report akan mendapatkan kepercayaan stakeholders yang dapat berpotensi dalam meningkatkan kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Sedangkan hasil penelitian model II menunjukkan bahwa pengungkapan sustainbaility report (dimensi ekonomi, lingkungan, sosial) secara parsial dan simultan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap return saham. Hal ini dikarenakan banyak faktor lain yang dipertimbangkan investor dalam pengambilan keputusan investasi salah satunya yaitu informasi finansial perusahaan.

Sustainability report is a reporting concept by the company to provide information on the economic, environmental and social impacts to stakeholders in realizing sustainable development. Sustainability report can serve as a form of transparency that will impact on the sustainability of the company. This study aims to examine the influence of each dimension in the disclosure sustaianbaility report on financial performance and stock performance.

The population used are companies listed in LQ45 and publish sustainability report period 2013 - 2016. The sample using purposive sampling method. The technique to test hypothesis is multiple linear regression analysis using two test the models. Model I to examine the effect of sustainability report disclosure on financial performance proxyed with Return On Equity (ROE). Model II to test the influence of disclosure sustainability report on stock performance proxy with stock return.

The results research of model I showed that the disclosure of sustainability report (economic, environmental, social) partially and simultaneously had a significant effect on the financial performance proxyed with Return On Equity (ROE). This requires a sustainability report that will generate stakeholders that can help improve the company's financial performance. While the results of research model II shows that the sustainability report (economic, environmental, social) partially and simultaneously has no significant effect on stock return. This is because many factors that investors use in decision-making one of them is corporate financial information.
