Abstract

INDONESIA :

Disiplin merupakan salah satu nilai karakter yang ada dalam pendidikan karakter. Nilai karakter disiplin sangat penting dimiliki supaya dapat muncul nilai karakter baik lainya. Pentingnya nilai karakter disiplin didasarkan pada alasan bahwa saat ini banyak terjadi perilaku menyimpang yang bertentangan dengan norma kedisiplinan. Munculnya perilaku tidak disiplin menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan yang terkait dengan karakter disiplin tidak membawa dampak positif terhadap perubahan perilaku siswa sehari-hari. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan program dan strategi penanaman karakter disiplin di SD Muhammadiyah 9 “Panglima Sudirman” kota Malang, (2) mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat dalam strategi penanaman karakter disiplin di SD Muhammadiyah 9 “Panglima Sudirman” kota Malang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Muhammadiyah 9 “Panglima Sudirman” kota Malang menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif yaitu dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul berupa kata-kata dianalisis dengan cara reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, (1) Program penanaman karakter di SD Muhammadiyah 9 “Panglima Sudirman” kota Malang meliputi, adanya tim karakter sekolah, program pembiasaan yang dipandu oleh guru piket dan program penanaman karakter ynag terakomodir dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan termuat dalam silabus dan RPP. Selanjutnya strategi penanaman karakter disiplin di SD Muhammadiyah 9 “Panglima Sudirman” kota Malang meliputi, keteladanan, penanaman kedisiplinan, pembiasaan, menciptakan suasana yang kondusif, dan pembinaan. (2) Faktor pendorong dalam strategi penanaman karakter disiplin di SD Muhammadiyah 9 “Panglima Sudirman” kota Malang meliputi, program kedisiplinan, strategi guru dalam penanaman kedisiplinan, antusias siswa dan guru, kerjasama antara sekolah dan orang tua. Selanjutnya faktor penghambat dalam strategi penanaman karakter disiplin di SD Muhammadiyah 9 “Panglima Sudirman” kota Malang adalah kurangnya kesadaran dan pemahaman dalam diri siswa dan orangtua.

Discipline is one of the character values in character education. The values of the character of discipline are very important in order to appear other good character values. The importance of the values of the character of discipline is based on the reason that there are many deviant behaviors today that are contrary to disciplinary norms. The emergence of undisciplined behavior indicates that knowledge related to the character of the discipline does not have a positive impact on changes in the behavior of students in everyday life. The objectives of the research are: (1) to describe the program and the strategy of disciplinary character building at Elementary School (SD) of Muhammadiyah 9 "Panglima Sudirman" of Malang, (2) to describe supporting and inhibiting factors in the strategies of discipline character building at Elementary School (SD) of Muhammadiyah 9 "Panglima Sudirman" of Malang. This research was conducted at at Elementary School (SD) of Muhammadiyah 9 "Panglima Sudirman" of Malang by using qualitative research approach with descriptive qualitative research type. Data were collected using observation, interview and documentation methods. The data collected were analyzed by means of reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.

The results of the research indicated that, (1) Character building programs at Elementary School (SD) of Muhammadiyah 9 "Panglima Sudirman" of Malang include, the school character team, habituation program that is guided by the picket teacher and character building program that is accommodated in learning activities and contained in syllabus and Lesson Plan (RPP). Further, the strategies of discipline character building at Elementary School (SD) of Muhammadiyah 9 "Panglima Sudirman" of Malang include, exemplary, disciplinary planting, habituation, creating a conducive atmosphere, and coaching. (2) The supporting factors in the strategies of discipline character building at Elementary School (SD) of Muhammadiyah 9 "Panglima Sudirman" of Malang include disciplinary program, teacher strategy in disciplinary building, student and teacher enthusiasm, the cooperation between school and parents. Furthermore, the inhibiting factors in the strategies of discipline character building at Elementary School (SD) of Muhammadiyah 9 "Panglima Sudirman" of Malang include are the lack of awareness and understanding between students and parents.
