Abstract
INDONESIA:
Sopan santun merupakan istilah bahasa jawa yang dapat diartikan sebagai perilaku seseorang yang menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai menghormati, menghargai, tidak sombong dan berakhlak mulia. Sikap sopan santun ini tidak sekedar hanya dipelajari di sekolah, namun sekolah perlu merancang mekanisme penerapan budaya sopan santun dalam kehidupan di sekolah. Disamping itu sekolah berkerjasama dengan keluarga untuk berperan membiasakan sikap sopan santun bagi anak mereka ketika di rumah dan di lingkungan sekitar. Dengan demikian kerja sama yang baik antara sekolah dan orang tua anak dalam mendidik anak tidak lagi hanya sebatas pada pembagian tugas atau orang tua menyerahkan sepenuhnya kepada sekolah namun perlu ada kerja sama dalam pelaksanaan proses pendidikan itu sendiri.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan implementasi pelestarian budaya jabat tangan di SD Negeri Turen 02 Malang, (2) mendeskripsikan dampak yang ditimbulkan dari pelestarian budaya jabat tangan dalam membentuk karakter sopan santun siswa kelas V B di SD Negeri Turen 02 Malang. Untuk mencapai tujuan di atas, digunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data diawali dengan analisis sebelum di lapangan, analisis selama di lapangan dan keabsahan data yang meliputi uji kredibilitas, metode trianggulasi dan pengujian konfirmability.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) implementasi pelestarian budaya jabat tangan dalam membentuk sopan santun di sekolah dengan pembiasaan rutin sekolah yang diadakan setiap harinya mulai dari: Pertama, kegiatan sebelum memulai pembelajaran diantaranya jabat tangan sebelum pembelajaran, jabat tangan sebelum memasuki kelas, jabat tangan pada waktu pulang sekolah, jabat tangan secara spontan, Kedua, jabat tangan di luar pembelajaran berlangsung diantaranya jabat tangan antar guru dengan siswa, jabat tangan antar siswa dengan siswa, jabat tangan antar guru dengan guru, (2) dampak implementasi pelestarian budaya jabat tangan dalam membentuk karakter sopan santun di sekolah: Pertama, penyelenggaraan pendidikan karakter di sekolah diantaranya berbicara ramah kepada orang lain (kepala sekolah, guru, karyawan), tidak mengobrol saat guru menerangkan materi, tidak mengejek teman lain, Kedua, penyelenggaraan pendidikan karakter di luar sekolah di bagi menjadi 2 yaitu di keluarga dan masyarakat diantaranya: (a) di keluarga : mengucap salam ketika akan keluar atau masuk rumah, menghormati pendapat antar anggota keluarga, membantu dalam mengerjakan pekerjaan rumah, (b) di masyarakat: tidak meludah di sembarang tempat, ikut bergotong royong, tidak meyela pembicaraan orang lain.
ENGLISH:
Manner in terms of Javanese can be transferred as behavior of person who raises the way of respecting, showing tolerance, humble, and well-mannered. The manner cannot be only implemented at school but also the school itself should arrange the mechanism of how to implement the manner’s behavior in the school’s activity. Furthermore, the school should cooperate with students’ family to make the students get used to keep being well-mannered in both inside and outside home. As a result, the good cooperation between the parents and the school in showing the students how to keep being well-mannered is not only the matter of how to manage responsibility whether it is the parents’ or the school’s.
The aim of this research is to; (1) describe the implementation of character and manner building’s perpetuation of SD Negeri Turen 02 Malang’s students (2) describe the impact arisen by the character and manner building’s perpetuation in order to create a well-mannered behavior for the students of SD Negeri Turen 02 Malang. To achieve the aim above, the researcher uses qualitative approach. The technic of collecting the data is accomplished by doing observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis is begins with prior analysis in the field, on-field analysis and data validity whih includes credibility test, trianggulation method and confirmatory testing.
The result of the research shows that: (1) the implementation of shaking hands behavior’s perpetuation at SD Negeri Turen 02 Malang is done in routine, everyday by implementing it on the school daily activity beginning from: the first time the activities before the lesson be begin include handshakes before learning, handshakes before into class, handshakes spontaneously. For the second, the handshake outside the learning took place such as handshakes between teachers with students, handshakes between students and students, handshakes between teachers and teachers. (2) the impact of implementation of cultural preservation of handshakes in making the character of courtesy in the school: the first,the organization of character education at school includes speaking kindly to others (principals, teachers, employees), not chatting when the teacher explains the material, not to mocking the other friends, the second, the organization of character education outside of the school is divided into 2, its in families and the community, there are : (a) in the family : giving greetngs when going out or entering home, respectong opinions among family members, helping in doing homework, (b) in the community : not spitting in any place, joining mutual cooperation, not interrupting the conversation of others.
