Abstract
INDONESIA:
Pendidikan adalah usaha sadar untuk menumbuh kembangkan potensi sumber daya manusia (SDM) melalui kegiatan pembelajaran. Dalam proses pembelajaran, terdapat beberapa komponen penting yang harus terpenuhi yang bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas belajar mengajar, salah satunya yaitu metode dan strategi pembelajaran. Metode dan strategi pembelajaran selain untuk membantu proses penyampaian materi terhadap siswa, juga berfungsi untuk menarik perhatian serta motivasi belajar siswa.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan cara pengimplementasian metode Role Playing melalui strategi Cooperative Learning untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sosiologi kelas X IPS di MA Hidaytul Mubtadi’in Malang. Berdasarkan dari hasil observasi awal terhadap siswa kelas X IPS menunjukkan bahwa sebagian siswa jenuh dengan gaya pembelajaran sebelumya, karena pembelajaran sosiologi biasanya menggunakan metode ceramah dan proses pembelajaran dilaksanakan di musholla. Dari hasil wawancara tersebut peneliti melaksanakan penelitian dengan upaya meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sosiologi melalui metode Role Playing melalui strategi Cooperative Learning.
Proses pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunkana metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang langsung dilaksanakan pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Dari hasil penelitian dalam tabel motivasi belajar menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar sosiologi pada siswa kelas X . Pada awal pre test peneliti mendapatkan nilai motivasi belajar siswa rata-rata 1,33, siklus I dengan rata-rata 1,77, siklus II rata-rata 2,66 dan siklus III dengan nilai rata-rata 3,77. Penerapan metode role playing melalui strategi cooperative learning menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode Role Playing melalui strategi Cooperative Learning ini dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sosiologi. Metode pembelajaran Role Playing serta strategi Cooperative Learning ini sangat diminati siswa, terlihat dari penilaian skor implementasi metode dan strategi pembelajaran menunjukkan skor yang awalnya 17 skor meningkat hingga 45 skor pada akhir penelitian. Penilaian skor ini dilaksanakan setiap pertemuan yang telah dipaparkan pada tabel implementasi metode dan strategi pembelajaran pada kelas X IPS MA Hidayatul Mubtadi’in Malang.

Education is a conscious effort to develop the potential of human resources (HR) through learning activities. In the process of learning, there are some important components that should be fulfilled which aims to improve the quality of teaching and learning, one of which methods and learning strategies. Methods and learning strategies in addition to assist in the delivery of materials to the students, it also serves to attract attention and student motivation.
The purpose of this study is to describe how the implementation of Role Playing methods through Cooperative Learning strategies to improve students' motivation on the subjects of sociology class X IPS in Hidaytul Mubtadi'in senior high school Malang. Based on the results of initial observations to the students of class X IPS showed that the majority of students saturated with the style of previous learning, because learning sociology usually use the lecture method and learning process implemented at the mosque. From interviews the researchers conducted the study with efforts to improve students' motivation on the subjects of sociology with Role Playing methods through Cooperative Learning strategies.
The process of collecting data in this study using observational methods, interviews, and documentation directly implemented at the time of the learning takes place. From the research results in the table of learning motivation showed an increased motivation to study sociology in class X. At the beginning of the pre-test research student motivation scores an average of 1.33, the first cycle with an average of 1.77, the second cycle an average of 2.66 and the third cycle with an average value of 3.77. Application of the method of role playing through cooperative learning strategies shows that by using the method of Role Playing through Cooperative Learning strategies can increase students' motivation on the subjects of sociology. Role Playing and learning methods Cooperative Learning strategy is very interested students, seen from the assessment scores implementation methods and learning strategies showing scores that initially 17 score increased to 45 score at the end of the study. Rating score is held every meeting that has been presented in the table implementation methods and learning strategies in class X IPS Hidayatul Mubtadi'in senior high school Malang.
