Abstract
ABSTRAK
Pendidikan karakter menjadi prioritas utama Pemerintah yang diindikasikan dengan adanya 18 Nilai Pendidikan Karaker Bangsa dan adanya PPK (Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter). Karakter religius itu sendiri merupakan karakter utama yang wajib untuk diinternalisasikan kepada peserta didik di tengah meningkatnya disharmonisasi umat beragama. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan karakter religius dengan 3 indikator yaitu patuh, toleran dan hidup rukun pada SMP Brawijaya Smart School Universitas Brawijaya Malang yang mempunyai peserta didik multi Agama.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan sikap dan perilaku yang patuh dalam melaksanakan ajaran agama yang dianut oleh peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Brawijaya Smart School Universitas Brawijaya Malang, (2) mendeskripsikan sikap dan perilaku toleran peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Brawijaya Smart School Universitas Brawijaya Malang terhadap pelaksanaan ibadah agama lain, (3) mendeskripsikan sikap dan perilaku hidup rukun peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Brawijaya Smart School Universitas Brawijaya Malang dengan pemeluk agama lain.
Untuk mencapai tujuan di atas, digunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Peneliti sebagai instrument kunci, dan teknik pengumpulan data penulis menggunkan metode observasi, metode wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunkan metode deskriptif dengan cara mereduksi data, penyajian, verifikasi dan kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian.
Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa, (1) Sikap dan perilaku yang patuh dalam melaksanakan ajaran agama yang dianut oleh peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Brawijaya Smart School Universitas Brawijaya Malang, dapat dikatakan baik, terlihat dari antusiasme peserta didik dalam mengikuti kegiatan kegamaan, yang mana dikarenakan mekanisme pelaksanaan kegiatan keagamaan dilakukan dengan baik, ( 2) Sikap dan perilaku toleran peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Brawijaya Smart School Universitas Brawijaya Malang terhadap pelaksanaan ibadah agama lain, cukup baik, terlihat dari tingginya kesadaran menghormati kegiatan keagamaan yang dilakukan dan dibuktikan dengan tidak adanya kasus bulliying terkait toleransi beragama, (3) Sikap dan perilaku hidup rukun peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Brawijaya Smart School Universitas Brawijaya Malang dengan pemeluk agama lain, baik, terlihat dari kesadaran beragama yang sangat tinggi, dibuktikan dengan adanya keharmonisan seluruh elemen di sekolah tersebut.
ABSTRACT
Character education is a top priority of the Government indicated by the 18 Value of National Character Education and PPK (Strengthening Character Education). The religious character itself is the main character that must be internalized to the students in the midst of increasing the disharmony of religious people. The Research described the religious character with three indicators that are obedient, tolerant and living in harmony at Junior High School of Brawijaya Smart School Malang which has multi religious learners.
The purposes of research are: (1) Described attitudes and behaviors that adhere to the implementation of religious teachings adopted by students of class VII Junior High School of Brawijaya Smart School Malang, (2) Described the attitudes and tolerant behavior of students of class VII Junior High School of Brawijaya Smart School Malang towards the implementation of other religious services, (3) Describe the attitude and behavior of life of the students of class VII Junior High School of Brawijaya Smart School Malang with other believers.
To achieve those purposes above, used qualitative approach with case study. Researcher as a key instrument, and data collection techniques used the author of observation methods, interviews and documentation methods. Then collecting data is analyzed by using descriptive method by reducing data, presentation, verification and conclusion from the research result.
The result of the research indicates that (1) Attitudes and behaviors that adhere to the implementation of religious teachings held by the students of class VII Junior High School of Brawijaya Smart School Malang, can be said good, visible from the enthusiasm of learners in following the activities of religion, (2) Attitudes and tolerant behavior of class VII students of class VII Junior High School of Brawijaya Smart School Malang toward the implementation of other religious worship, good enough, seen from the high awareness of respecting religious activities conducted and proved by the absence of (3) Attitudes and behaviors of living in harmony of class VII students of class VII Junior High School of Brawijaya Smart School Malang with other religious adherents, well, seen from a very high religious awareness, evidenced by the harmony of all elements in the school.
