Abstract
ABSTRAK
Pendidikan nilai karakter sangatlah penting demi membentuk pribadi siswa agar memiliki sikap yang berlandaskan dengan segi-segi karakter, yaitu mengakui hak setiap orang, menghormati keyakinan orang lain, setuju dalam perbedaan, dan saling mengerti yang akhirnya akan menjadikan siswa bersifat lemah lembut, gotong royong, saling memahami, dan sikap bermusyawarah. Jadi sebelum siswa terjun ke lingkungan masyarakat yang terdapat perbedaan agama maka pembelajaran nilai karakter sejak dini menjadi pendidikan yang tertanam bagi siswa, karena untuk bergaul dengan umat yang berbeda agama pastinya butuh beberapa ilmu dan tatacaranya tersendiri.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mendiskripsikan nilai-nilai karakter yang ada di SDN Wonoagung 3 Kasembon Malang, (2) mendiskripsikan strategi dan model pendidikan yang diajarkan kepada siswa tentang pengembangan nilai-nilai karakter di SDN Wonoagung 3 Kasembon Malang, (3) mendiskripsikan hambatan dan pendukung dalam pendidikan nilai-nilai karakter siswa di SDN Wonoagung 3 Kasembon Malang.
Untuk mencapai tujuan di atas, digunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang berisi penjelasan-penjelasan mengenai data yang diperoleh dari lapangan. Instrumen kunci adalah peneliti sendiri, dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Dan dianalisis dengan cara mereduksi data yang tidak relevan, memaparkan data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) Nilai-nilai karakter yang ada di SDN Wonoagung 3 Kasembon Malang diantaranya adalah Mengakui Hak Setiap Orang, menghormati keyakinan orang lain, setuju dalam perbedaan, saling mengerti, (2) model dan strategi pendidikan yang diajarkan dalam mengembangkan nilai-nilai karakter siswa adalah dengan model pendidikan yang terfokus kepada siswa dan lebih menekankan kepada pembiasaan dan praktik dilapangan (3) hambatan dan pendukung dalam proses pendidikan nilai-nilai karakter di SDN Wonoagung 3 Kasembon Malang diantaranya adalah: Kedisiplinan Sisiwa, keterbatasan media pembelajaran, orang tua yang kurang peduli terhadap anaknya, kurangnya tenaga pendidik. Namun juga ada faktor pendukung dalam pendidikan nilai karakter yaitu: kondisi lingkungan berbeda agama, tenaga pendidik yang ikhlas dan profesional, orang tua yang senantiasa membimbing anaknya.
ABSTRACT
Education of character value is very important for creating students personality in other to have behaviour base on tolerance aspects, they are admitting everyone's rights, respecting others beliefs agree in differences, and respect each others that finally make students be kind, helping one another, understanding and discussion. So before the students go to the citizen environment that contain religion differences, so the early education about character value become planted lesson for them. Because it needs some knowledge and specific treatments to interact with different religion people.
The purpose of this study are for (1) describing character value in SDN Wonoagung 3 Kasembon Malang, (2) describing strategy and education method taught to the students about improving character value in SDN Wonoagung 3 Kasembon Malang, (3) describing obstacles and supporters in education students character value in SDN Wonoagung 3 Kasembon Malang.
To reach the purpose above, this study uses descriptive qualitative approach that contain explanations about data got from the field. The key instrument of this study is the researcher himself and the technique of collecting data uses interview, observation, and documentation. Then analysed by reducing the irrelevant data, explaining data and then concluding.
To achieve the above objectives, a qualitative descriptive research approach is used which contains explanations of data obtained from the field. The key instrument is the researcher himself, and the data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. And analyzed by reducing irrelevant data, exposing data and drawing conclusions.
The results showed that, (1) the character values in SDN Wonoagung 3 Kasembon Malang included recognizing the rights of everyone, respecting the beliefs of others, agreeing on differences, understanding each other, (2) education models and strategies taught in developing the values of students' character are education models that are focused on students and emphasize on habituation and practice in the field (3) obstacles and support in the process of education of character values in SDN Wonoagung 3 Kasembon Malang include: Discipline Discipline, limitations of learning media, parents who are less concerned about their children, lack of educators. But there are also supporting factors in character value education, namely: different religious environmental conditions, sincere and professional educators, parents who always guide their children.
