Abstract
ABSTRAK
Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning merupakan konsep belajar yang dapat membantu guru mengaitkan antara materi yang diajarkanya dengan situasi dunia nyata siswa dan mendorong siswa membuat hubungan antara pengetahuan yang dimiliki dan di alaminya dengan penerapannya dalam kehidupan mereka sebagai anggota keluarga dan masyarakat. Dengan penerapan pembelajaran ini siswa menjadi lebih termotivasi dan meningkatnya prestasi belajar siswa. Keberhasilan memotivasi siswa adalah guru yang menjadi faktor utamanya, dan jika siswa telah termotivasi maka prestasi belajar siswa otomatis akan meningkat. Karena siswa memahami dan menyukai pembelajaran tersebut.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk : (1) Mengetahui perencanaan pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning mata pelajaran IPS terhadap peningkatan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VII F di MTs Negeri 7 Malang. (2) mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning mata pelajaran IPS terhadap peningkatan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VII F di MTs Negeri 7 Malang. (3) Mengetahui evaluasi pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning mata pelajaran IPS terhadap peningkatan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VII F di MTs Negeri 7 Malang.
Untuk mencapai tujuan di atas, digunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Peneliti memilih jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif karena penelitian tentang Penerapan Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning Mata Pelajaran IPS Untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi dan Pestasi Belajar Siswa Kelas VII F MTs Negeri 7 Malang tidak hanya cukup pada kajian teori tentang model pembelajaran saja, tetapi perlu dibuktikan dengan turun ke sekolah langsung dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi di kelas VII F.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : penerapan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning di MTs Negeri 7 Malang, siswa dapat lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran karena materi yang diajarkan oleh guru dihubungkan langsung dengan lingkungan atau kehidupan sehari-hari siswa sehingga siswa dapat lebih mudah memahami materi yang di terapkan. Guru dapat membuat siswa menjadi lebih termotivasi terhadap pembelajaran yang di ajarkan, guru dapat memancing siswa melalui pertanyaan-pertanyaan menarik seputar kehidupan mereka untuk meningkatkan antusias menjawab siswa, karena dengan begitu jawaban siswa adalah jawaban pribadi yang pasti berbeda-beda. Prestasi belajar siswa meningkat karena adanya pemahaman siswa terhadap pembelajaran, adanya kemauan siswa untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajarnya dan yang lebih terpenting karena model pembelajaran ini diharuskan untuk memahami bukan menghafal agar siswa lebih mengingat dari proses memahami tersebut.
ABSTRACT
Contextual Teaching and Learning is a learning concept that can help teachers to connect between the lessons they teach to the students' real-world situations and encourage students to make connections between their knowledge and nature with their application in their lives as family members and the community. With the application of this learning students become more motivated and increased student achievement. The success of motivating students is the teacher who becomes the main factor, and if students have been motivated then the students' learning achievement will automatically increase. Because students understand and love the learning.
The purposes of research ar to: (1) To know the learning plan of Contextual Teaching and Learning State Islamic University State Islamic University IPS subjects to the increase of motivation and learning achievement of students of class VII F in Student Motivation and Achievement Class VII F at State Junior High School of 7 of Malang. (2) To know the application of Contextual Teaching and Learning of N subjects to the improvement of motivation and learning achievement of VII F students in Social Sciences Education 7 Malang. (3) To know the learning evaluation of Contextual Teaching and Learning of Social Science subject to the improvement of motivation and learning achievement of students of grade VII F in State Junior High School of 7 of Malang.
To achieve the above objectives, used qualitative research approach with the type of research used descriptive qualitative. Researcher choose the type of descriptive qualitative research because research on Application of Learning Contextual Teaching and Learning Social Science Lesson To Improve Student Motivation and Student Achievement at grade VII F in State Junior High School of 7 of Malang is not only enough in the study of theory about learning model only, but need to be proven by going to school directly with observation, interview and documentation in grade VII F.
The results showed that: the implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning model in in State Junior High School of 7 of Malang, students can be more active in learning because the material taught by the teacher is connected directly with the environment or daily life of the students so that students can more easily understand the material in applied . Teachers can make students become more motivated towards the learning they teach, teachers can lure students through interesting questions about their lives to increase students 'enthusiastic answers, because then the students' answers are definite personal answers. Student achievement increases because of students' understanding of learning, the willingness of students to improve their learning motivation and more importantly because this learning model is required to understand not memorize so that students better remember from the process of understanding it.
