Abstract
INDONESIA :
Hipertensi merupakan salah satu penyakit dengan prevalensi tinggi. Salah satu masalah yang paling sering ditemui dalam pengobatan hipertensi adalah ketidakpatuhan pasien dalam menjalani pengobatan farmakologi dan non farmakologi. Ketidakpatuhan pasien hipertensi dapat terjadi akibat kurangnya pengetahuan dan pemahamannya mengenai tata cara pengobatan. Apabila tidak ditangani secara tepat, penyakit hipertensi jangka panjang dapat berisiko menyebabkan komplikasi dan kematian.
Tujuan pemberian edukasi pada pasien hipertensi di Puskesmas Sutojayan adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap pasien hipertensi dalam menjalani pengobataanya sehingga tujuan dari terapi hipertensi dapat tercapai. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode pra-eksperimen one group pre test post test design, pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode consecutive sampling selama satu bulan sehingga didapatkan responden sebanyak 56 orang. Hasil uji wilcoxon menunjukkan adanya perbedaan nilai sebelum dan setelah diberikan edukasi dengan nilai signifikansi (p value < 0,05). Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah pemberian edukasi berpengaruh terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap pasien hipertensi di Puskesmas Sutojayan Kabupaten Blitar.

Hypertension is one of the disease with high prevalence. One of the most faced problem in hypertension treatment is the disobedience of the patient in doing the pharmacology and non-pharmacology treatment. The disobedience of the patient can occur because the lack of knowledge and understanding of the procedure of the treatment. If this is not handled appropriately, a long-term hypertension disease can be at risk of causing complication and death.
The aim of provisioning education to the hypertension patients in Sutojayan Public Health Center of Blitar Distric is to enhance the knowledge and attitude of hypertension patients in their treatments so that the objective of hypertension therapy can be achieved. This research is considered as qualitative research with pre-experiment one group pre-test posttest design method, the sample collecting was using consecutive sampling method for a month obtaining 56 respondents. The result of Wilcoxon test shows that there is a difference in value between before and after the provision of education with the significance value (p value < 0.05). The conclusion of this research is that education have influences in knowledge and attitude of the hypertension patients in Sutojayan Public Health Center.
