Abstract
INDONESIA :
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti karakteristik sediaan dan pelepasan meloxicam dengan sistem nanoemulsi o/w. Nanoemulsi dibuat dengan kombinasi fase minyak palm oil dan VCO dengan rasio perbandingan palm oil: VCO (8:2) dan palm oil:VCO (6:4). Evaluasi meliputi organoleptis, pH, tipe emulsi, stabilitas fisik, ukuran partikel, efisiensi penjebakan dan uji pelepasan meloxicam dari sistem nanoemulsi untuk setiap formula. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sistem nanoemulsi meloxicam formula I dan formula II memiliki organoleptis fisik cair, berwarna kuning keruh dan berbau khas. Kedua formula memiliki pH yang sesuai dengan penggunaan topical yaitu berkisar antara 5,5-6,0 serta tipe nanoemulsi minyak dalam air. Kedua fomula nanoemulsi meloxicam tetap stabil dalam penyimpanan selama 4 minggu pada suhu yang berbeda. Data yang didapat dianalisa dengan program statistik dengan SPSS menggunakan independent sample t-test derajat kepercayaan 95% (α=0,05).
Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan bermakna pada dua formula. Uji ukuran partikel menggunakan particle size analizer. Rerata ukuran partikel pada formula I adalah 169,6±0,6 nm dan formula II adalah 336,4±22,0 nm. Uji efisiensi penjebakan menggunakan metode sentrifugasi. Rerata efisiensi penjebakan formula I yaitu 89,41±0,53% dan formula II sebesar 82,36±0,43%. Uji pelepasan obat menggunakan sel difusi franz dengan membran selofan dan larutan dapar fosfat 7,4 ± 0,05, temperatur 32°C, 100 rpm. Rerata pelepasan pada formula I adalah 58,951±0,479μg/cm2/menit½ dan formula II adalah 56,664±0,526 μg/cm2/menit½
ENGLISH :
This research aims to study the characteristics of preparation and release test of meloxicam by nanoemulsion o/w system. Nanoemulsion is made by the combination of palm oil and VCO phase with the ratio of palm oil: VCO (8:2) and palm oil: VCO (6:4) using emulsification method. The evaluation process including organoleptic, pH, emulsion type, physic stability, particle size, entrapment efficiency and release test of meloxicam from nanoemulsion system for each formula. The result shows that both nanoemulsion system of meloxicam formula I and II have liquid physic of organoleptic, dark yellow color, and a distinctive odor. Both of the formulae have pH which is suitable for topical use, which is around 5.5-6.0, and oil emulsion type in the water. Both of the nanoemulsion formulae of meloxicam are stable during 4 weeks in the storage at different temperatures. The obtained data were analyzed using SPSS Software with independent sample t-test with 95% of confidence interval (α=0,05).
The result shows that there are significant differences in both formulae. The test of particle size was conducted using particle size analyzer. The average size of particle in formula I is 169,6±0,6 nm and formula II is 336,4±22,0 nm. Entrapment efficiency test was conducted using the centrifugal method. The entrapment efficiency average of formula I is 89,41±0,53% and formula II is 82,36±0,43%. The release test was conducted using Franz diffusion cell with cellophane membrane and phosphate solution 7,4 ± 0,05, temperature 32°C, 100 rpm. The release average of formula I is 58,951±0,479μg/cm2/menit½ and formula II is 56,664±0,526 μg/cm2/menit½.
