Abstract
INDONESIA:
Komunikasi visual, pencahayaan, warna, musik dan aroma merupakan faktor-faktor dalam penciptaan suasana (store atmosphere) yang dapat mempengaruhi respon belanja pengunjung. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan hubungan pengaruh variabel bebas berupa komunikasi visual (X1), pencahayaan (X2), warna (X3), musik (X4) dan aroma (X5) terhadap variabel terikat berupa perilaku belanja (Y) studi kasus Pada pengunjung Malang Town Square.
Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksplanatori dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Lokasi penelitian bertempat di food court Malang Town Square. Populasi penelitian adalah pengunjung Malang Town Square dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 125 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner. Dan analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda.
Hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa variabel komunikasi visual (X1), pencahayaan (X2), warna (X3), musik (X4) dan aroma (X5) berpengaruh terhadap perilaku belanja (Y). Hal ini ditunjukan dengan nilai koefisien determinasi (Adjusted R Square) sebesar 0,565%, yang menunjukan bahwa komunikasi visual, pencahayaan, warna, musik dan aroma berpengaruh terhadap perilaku belanja sebesar 56,5%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 43,5% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Dan berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis diperoleh bahwa secara simultan komunikasi visual (X1), pencahayaan (X2), warna (X3), musik (X4) dan aroma (X5) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku belanja (Y). Sedangkan secara parsial hanya pencahayaan (X2) dan warna (X3) yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku belanja (Y) sedangkan komunikasi visual (X1), musik (X4) dan aroma (X5) memiliki pengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap perilaku belanja (Y).

Visual communication, lighting, color, music, and aroma are factors in creating store atmosphere that can affect shopping visitor responds. This study has purpose to describe the relation of free variable effect such as visual communication (X1), lighting (X2), color (X3), music (X4) and aroma (X5) toward bound variable to shopping behavior (Y) a study case to visitors of Malang Town Square.
This study is kind of explanatory research with quantitative approach. This study took place at food court in Malang Town Square. Research population is the visitors of Malang Town Square by the sample as amount 125 corresponds. The sample taking technique uses purposive sampling technique. Data collection method is questionnaires. And data analysis in this study uses multi linier regression analysis.
The study result can be known that visual communication variable (X1), lighting (X2), color (X3), music (X4), and aroma (X5) affect toward shopping behavior (Y). This is shown by coefficient value of determination (Adjusted R Square) as amount 0.565%, showing that visual communication, lighting, color, music, and aroma affect toward shopping behavior amount 56.5% while the remain amount 43.5% affected by another variable. And according to hypothesis experiment obtained that simultaneously visual communication (X1), lighting (X2), color (X3), music (X4) and aroma (X5) significantly affect toward shopping behavior (Y). Then partially only lighting (X2) and color (X3) have significant effect toward shopping behavior (Y) and visual communication (X1), music (4) and aroma (X5) have positive effects however insignificant toward shopping behavior (Y).
