Abstract
INDONESIA:
Mekanisme perdagangan dan transaksi saham yang dilakukan oleh investor sering kali tidak bisa terlepas dari informasi mengenai kondisi pasar. Signalling theory menekankan pentingnya informasi terhadap keputusan investasi pihak di luar perusahaan. Harga saham dan volume perdagangan terjadi sesuai tingkat permintaan dan penawaran saham di pasar modal.
Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh harga saham dan volume perdagangan terhadap indeks harga saham gabungan (2) Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis inflasi memoderasi pengaruh harga saham dan volume perdagangan terhadap indeks harga saham gabungan. Penelitian ini di perusahaan subsektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2012-2016. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 20 dengan sampel sebanyak 11 perusahaan. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Analisis data diolah dengan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda dan Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA) dengan aplikasi SPSS.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harga saham dan volume perdagangan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap indeks harga saham gabungan. Harga saham berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap indeks harga saham gabungan, sedangkan volume perdagangan berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap indeks harga saham gabungan.. Inflasi tidak memoderasi pengaruh harga saham terhadap indeks harga saham gabungan, serta inflasi memperkuat pengaruh volume perdagangan terhadap indeks harga saham gabungan.

Trading mechanisms and stock transactions conducted by investors often can not be separated from information about market conditions. Signalling theory emphasizes the importance of information to investment decisions outside parties. Stock prices and trading volume occur according to the level of demand and supply of shares in the capital market.
This study aims to (1) to know and analyze the effect of stock prices and trading volume on the composite stock price index (2) To know and analyze the inflation moderate the effect of stock prices and trading volume on the composite stock price index. This research is in company of food and beverage subsector that listed in BEI year 2012-2016. The research population is 20 with a sample of 11 companies. The research method is quantitative descriptive. Data analysis was processed by multiple linear regression analysis technique and Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA) with SPSS application.
The result of the research shows that stock price and trading volume have significant effect to the composite stock price index. The stock price has a positive and significant effect on the composite stock price index, while the trading volume has a negative and significant effect on the composite stock price index. Inflation does not moderate the effect of stock price on the composite stock price index, and inflation strengthens the effect of trading volume on the composite stock price index
