Abstract
INDONESIA:
Pengembangan buku ajar ini didasarkan pada hasil observasi di SDN Wonosari 2 Malang bahwa pada kelas IV belum menggunakan buku ajar matematika yang telah direkomendasikan oleh keputusan menteri. Hal tersebut dikarenakan kurangnya sosialisasi mengenai keputusan menteri sehingga guru tidak memahaminya. Minimnya bahan ajar juga merupakan salah satu faktor kurang efektifnya kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah ini. Dalam setiap pembelajaran baiknya menunjukkan adanya koneksi dengan dunia nyata termasuk dalam pembelajaran matematika. Dengan pendekatan PMRI pembelajaran matematika dapat menunjukkan adanya suatu koneksi dengan dunia nyata. Lebih dari itu, PMRI menempatkan penekanan penggunaan suatu situasi yang bisa dibayangkan oleh siswa.
Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ajar matematika berupa buku siswa dan buku guru berbasis PMRI. Selain itu dalam penelitian ini juga akan mendeskripsikan spesifikasi buku ajar materi simetri berbasis PMRI serta mengetahui keefektifan buku ajar.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan Dick and Lou Carey. Prosedur pengembangan meliputi Identifying Instructional, Conducting Instructional Anallysis, Identifying Entry Behaviors, Characteristic, Writing Performance Objective, Developing Criterion-Referenced Test, Developing Instructional Strategy, Developing and Selecting Instrutional , Designing and Conducting Formative Evaluation, Revising Instruction, Conducting Summative Evaluation.
Hasil produk penelitian ini berupa buku siswa dan buku guru materi simetri dengan menggunakan pendekatan PMRI. Buku siswa dan buku guru menggunakan ukuran kertas A4, jenis huruf Comic San MS dan ukuran huruf 12 dengan 2 spasi. Buku ajar disertai pula dengan gambar kartun karak ter muslim yang menarik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar materi simetri berbasis PMRI efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran dilihat dari nilai rata-rata pre-test dan post-test yang dilakukan oleh siswa kelas IV SDN Wonosari 2 Malang. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh ketika post-test adalah 78,92. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh ketika pre-test adalah 65, 15.
ENGLISH:
Development of this textbook was based on the results of observation in SDN Wonosari 2 Malang in which on Grade IV had not usedthe mathematics textbook recommended by the decision of minister. It was because of lack of socialization about the decision of minister so that teachers did not understand it. The lack of teaching materials was also one of the factors of less effectivelearning activities in this school. In every learning it would be better to show the existence of connection with the real world including in learning mathematics. With PMRI approach the learning of mathematics could show the existence of a connection with the realworld. Furthermore, PMRI put emphasis in the use of a situation that could be imagined by students.
Thisresearch development was aimedto develop mathematics textbook in the form of PMRI-based students book and teachers book. Beside that in this research would also describe specification of textbook in material of PMRI-based symmetry and knowing the effectiveness of the textbook.
This researchwas a research of development with model of development of Dick and Lou Carey. The results of this research product was in the form of students book and teachers book in material of symmetry by using PMRI approach. Students book and teachers book used size A4 paper, the font of Comic San MS and the font size of 12 with double spaces. The textbooks were accompanied by cartoon picture wiht Muslim characters. The results of this research showed that PMRI-based book of teaching in the material of symmetry was effective to be used in learning when seen from the average marks of the pre-test and post-test conducted by students of Grade IV SDN Wonosari 2 Malang. The average marks obtained in the post-test was 78.92. While the average value obtained in the pre-test was 65. 15.
